Dennis was extremely knowledgeable and showed places you would normally only see in a movie/TV, but even then probably wouldn’t recognize them without being shown. - L. S.Los Angeles, CA5 contributionsGordon and Amanda tailored an absolutely fantastic evening for us — and a perfect celebration in every way! Amanda was our stellar guide back in time to Prohibition as we visited legendary Harlem sites and retraced the footsteps of iconic musicians. Amanda had surprises for us at every turn and the night unfolded in the best way, with the energy driving us forward like the exploding rumble of a double bass. Each club we visited had great vibes, amazing music, surprise performances, and special guests. I could have stayed out all night, but the last club pumpkin’d at 3am.
Our experience didn’t end when the music stopped, as we got to relive the night’s magic the following day when we received the wonderful photos and videos taken during our tour. I truly feel like the night was priceless — and we all felt like we ended the night having gained new friends in Gordon and Amanda.
Do yourself a favor and book this tour! A wonderful experience to have an oasis of calm in a very hectic city.

She gave us history and tips for the best drinks to try. Erick was very very nice, open-minded and he know to adapt at different peaple. We had the impression to have a new friend! The limousine experience was incredible, like a party! The rooftops were very trendy. We were so glad we rolled the dice because the Grisly Pear did not disappoint. So much so, that it was our favourite night out in NYC on our short trip.
The Comics were fantastic, the venue was great & the staff were even better, 12 AUG 24. We were visiting the States & were made to feel right at home, our glasses were never empty. The night started quiet and ended loud, with Houston Person at Mezzrow, Johnny O’Neal at the Craftsman, and an unexpected drop in by James Carter at the American Legion. I don’t know how Ari sniffs out the underground rumors of when these folks are performing, but MAN does he know what he’s doing.
