What travellers are saying
- Keith NCheltenham, UK195 contributionsBeautiful fountain, lake and terrace. This would have been a lovely place to stop and enjoy the general ambience of the park if the pollen had not been so overwhelming that we had to escape to the streets so we could breathe again. Have made a mental note to return out of hayfever season.Written June 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water was not flowing so bit average.Written October 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dustythoughtsManchester, CT2,164 contributionsThis strikingly beautiful statue is a perfect injunction for peace in this chaotic times. It's located in a small green space right next to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and is a good place to sit, take in some greenery, and enjoy some quietude. I love coming here with a bagel to eat, or just to enjoy the flow of people. This statue is super detailed and should be studied at leisure. This statue isn't nearly as well-known as it should be, which is unfortunate, given how many people go through the cathedral.Written May 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelingSoccerLoonSaint Paul, MN5,795 contributionsThis fountain in Bryant Park dedicated in 1912 memorializes the late 19th century social worker Josephine Shaw Lowell, who founded the Charity Organization Society. Interestingly, the fountain marks the first woman to be honored by a "major monument" in NYC. It helps creates the charming scene in Bryant Park which is arguably one of the finest city parks in the country.Written March 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
