I enjoyed the park. It's pretty, but I enjoyed the people who make going there an interesting group.

Being a fan of friends I had to see this building in the Greenwich Village. You can visit it only from outside since the interior in the series was filmed in the film studios and not here.
It was great to see it and take a photo.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years since I came out at 13. Durig my teenage years there was alot of fun and voguing on the pier. I still have fun, dance , bring my music and there are still many gays that frequent although "karens" pushing their strollers will stare, we still run the pier, wear our thongs and speeds and have a Kiki in warmer weather... Can't wait for spring 2021. Bring your rainbow flag, blanket and music here to have a day of fun in the village!!! It's open till 1am.
WARNING, be discreet about drinking or smoking as the parks police are always watching and happy to fine people.

My brother completed this on his bucket list. The taxi driver didn't have a clue where it was and I had to keep showing him on my phone. It was much quicker and cheaper going back to the 9-11 Memorial.
There is not a lot to do at the Stonewall NM, but the weather was perfect and we enjoyed sitting on a park bench, viewing the garden, the Inn, the signs, and especially the statue.
To my delight, the "rangers" set up a temporary visitor center, decorated the statue, and even provided the National Parks Passport cancellation.
The Inn itself served drinks only, no food, and didn't smell good, so we spent most of our time relaxing in the park.

This neglected building stands on the corner between Christopher St and Grove St. In this area of high priced property, it seemed remarkable that a building of such size could be left empty and forlorn. I knew from my guide book that it had been built as a dispensary to care for the poor but as I was intrigued to know more, I did a bit more research. Apparently, the dispensary had to close after incurring legal debts arising from being sued for their refusal to treat a person with Aids. The building was later sold to a property acquirer William Gottlieb and since his death has been owned by his descendants. The deeds impose tight restrictions on further use and so the property remains empty. A proposal to open it as a resource for homeless people has been thwarted which seems a shame given current need and the intentions of the original owners. I think I will check  on any future progress as it has whetted my appetite to follow the story.

The famous actress, Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment from the TV show. It’s only an apartment and really boring. Not worth going out of your way to see.

Father Demo Square is a fairly standard public space with a fountain and some parks. It's a good meeting spot since it is well known and in a good location. However, it doesn't appear to have the same TLC as other spots, especially with the always well-kept Washington Square Park so close.

I don't know how many times I walked past this statue before I finally Googled Giuseppe Garibaldi. I read a very good summary on Untapped, which I recommend, of why he is honored in the US. However, after doing the research, this statue's location seems rather odd. It should really be in Staten Island.
