We took a pedicab around Central Park with Frankie’s legs and it was a beautiful sunny day. There was so much history attached to Central Park i was amazed.

Perfect way to see NYC neighbourhoods from a different perspective and at a leisurely pace. Head south and then take time to explore the villages.

Great time, good food, very busy. We had the hot dogs and the fried cheese corn dogs. So many vendors and the ice scating rink.

I was lucky to go up Twin Towers back in 1981 and to stand at the waterfall reflecting on the lives that were lost was very moving. The area outside is very quiet and respectful.

I enjoyed the park. It's pretty, but I enjoyed the people who make going there an interesting group.

Roosevelt Island is tucked on the side of Manhattan Island. There is a road bridge linking it to Queens and there is also a cable car which can take you across the East River to the island from Manhattan where the terminal is on 2nd Avenue.

I would definitely recommend this as a good way to get to the island. You can use your metro card to get across there and swipe again to get back. There are terminals at both stations that you can use to get a metro card of top up your existing one. Alternatively you can use your debit or credit card.

There are a number of buildings on the island with offices and apartments. At the southern end of the island is the park and there are lots of lovely views from the island of the surrounding area.

The Queensboro Bridge bisects the island however it is not possible to access the island from the bridge or vice versa. use the cable car instead.

With some may high rise buildings is nice to get a break in the skyline which you find with union square. Lively area and recommended for a visit.

Something I hadn’t seen before, people sitting ON the memorial to take pictures!! Seems very disrespectful, I’d like to know what others think.

This was my first visit. It is very easy to find and enter. Plenty of pathways and a wide variety of trees, bushes and flowering plants. Benches can be found throughout, and there is even a restroom. I only wish there were identifying stakes.

Located in Central Park the zoo is a breath of fresh air!

It’s not too expensive to enter I think it was about $13 maybe? There are quite a lot of animals, birds, lizards, penguins and much more to see!

I really enjoyed my afternoon at the zoo! The only downfall for me was I felt that some of the enclosures were too small for quite a few of the animals, especially the bears. Maybe look into expanding the park if possible or try making the enclosures bigger and more homely for them?

But overall the animals were great to see and it’s a lovely little break from the busy city.

After walking The High Line we went to Little Island, and we loved it just as much as the line. This is a quite extraordinary place - a garden on the water - and both the architecture and plants are amazing to see. When you walk into the garden it feels a bit like you are leaving the city behind, and you are in kind of an oasis with silence and no stress. We have never seen anything like it, and we would recommend everyone to visit this place when in NYC.

Great NYC park that has something for everybody including dogs. Views of the Upper West Side and the water make this nyc park special and unique.

What a hidden gem in NY, a gorgeous walk through a wooded area with stunning views at the top of the hill right over Manhattan and beyond.
A quiet release from the bustle below with lots of birdlife and squirrels to stop and watch.

A pretty harbor no matter what angle you view it from. Not sure what the most iconic view is but from the water seems to be the best.
