Impressive mise-en-scène, artistic cast and innovating program. I have followed the Met Opera since 2004 and have seen its evolution in a 20-year span. The theater is magnificent and the incorporation of contemporary opera under Yannick's vision has been superb. For those who cannot attend yet, I highly recommend the Met HD recordings - they do get all the possible close-ups you may miss, even from the Grand Tier and Parterre seats. Pro tip: log on for rush tickets for last minute spots in the Orchestra.

We enjoyed a performance of the timeless traditional Madame Butterfly at the Metropolitan Opera. It was a beautiful night with great friends

The Connelly is a popular off-Broadway venue for non-profit theater companies. We came here for Amore Opera's production of Don Giovanni. Despite the bleacher-style seating, we were extremely comfortable and had a great view of the stage and orchestra pit. It's a splendid informal venue for all kinds of theater productions.
