- Ron FEagle, ID10 contributionsTraveling for 4 days in New York City during the busy Christmas season and we needed a wheelchair to get a teenager around the city with a fractured ankle that occurred just prior to the trip. Contacted Cloud of Goods via their website and ordered a wheelchair without speaking to anyone, I was a little hesitant. As soon as my order was in I received an e-mail and a phone number from Richard Perez from the company and he took care of everything. He delivered the wheelchair to the hotel just a few hours after I ordered it and met me in the lobby. The wheelchair looked new and was the perfect size. When we left NYC, all I did was send him a text and he picked it up at the valet desk at the hotel. - Chris C11 contributionsWe had a great time on these bikes riding around central park. But then there were issues. Returning the bikes was difficult, the first return station was closed, the second did not exist. After returning the bikes we were shocked at the cost. For 1.5 hours of use we paid $70, that's about ÂŁ50. 20 minutes of that was due to us trying to return them. The tour guide was excellent (a proud New Yorker) and showed us all key areas of Manhattan while providing lot of great historical information. The cycling was easy as the city is flat. Bike lanes make it safe and the traffic is used to cyclists. - RonInVeroVero Beach, FL7 contributionsThe bikes that were available for free at our hotel were out the day we wanted to ride along the Hudson River Greenway and Empire State Tr. The Citi bikes looked like a real pain as you were supposed to check them in after 30 minutes even if you paid for a daily rate. Walked in to Waterfront Bicycle Shop 10 minutes after they opened. Had us on two quality bikes that looked made for what we were doing. Came with water bottle holders that could be easily tightened and loosened. A small pouch on front of both but he saw I had a backpack and he offered to to replace pouch with a basket. Basket was perfect as long as you don't have a heavy backpack. Gave us a lock in case we wanted to leave bikes and explore. Offered helmets but we declined. These bikes were so smooth, clearly maintained well. Gear shifting with lever with thumb. $25 for 3 hours or $35 for full day. We went for 3 hours. 22 mile round trip down to Battery Park to George Washington Bridge. Get on the Hudson River Greenway just across the street. If you wanted to get off and spend time at all the parks and sites, you could easily spend the entire day. - Val CBaltimore, MD1 contributionMy husband and I walked Central Park a few years ago. It was an entire day and we didn't get to see everything. We wanted to bring our 3 boys back with us. Cycling the park was a great way to explore...just stop at any point and enjoy the different sites. The shop was very convenient to the park entrance - a short walk and you are there! Our check-in was not ideal - the girl at the register was very rude (reason for 4 stars instead of 5) but the gentleman at bike return was extremely pleasant. - Lisa BLa Jolla, CA697 contributionsRented a virtually new Cannondale bike with a lock and rode down along the beautiful Hudson River bike path to Battery Park. Cost was $8/hr, including a helmet, bike lock was $5 extra. It is really easy to do this ride, as both 54th and 55th streets are one way with a separate bike lane. Once you get to the Westside Highway, you cross at the light and enter the bike lane the goes along the river. On weekends, it can be busy, but as long as you pay attention, it’s quite safe. Lovely and very scenic ride!

We purchased a NY cycle jersey, and the staff were great. We had opportunities to take pictures and get lots of info about the park. this experience is better than walking and we had an amazing tour.
