This walk offers an interesting view of the city on an elevated walk. We absolutely enjoyed it, though it's really dependent on a good weather. The walk is chill and beautiful if you're in for it. We started the walk from Hudson area and ended at Chelsea, and did not finish the entire walk.

Always fun to come here as there are so many charming tree-lined streets. You will find many good restaurants and fun bars. it's an area well-served by public transit. It's used to be very much a village, a special corner of the city. Over-gentrification changed that, lots of unique businesses got priced out. But the area retains its charm and is still a lot of fun.

Definitely a tourist activity that is a must do in NYC if you know the show Friends. Of course, it is just a facade and not their “real” apartment, but fun to see.

This place was amazing. Very moving and really well done. Very respectful. Can't believe I got to hold things that were kept from 9/11. Highly recommend

So many great eating places around the park, we grabbed some lunch and sat on the benches around the fountain, had lunch and people watched, this is my favourite little park in the city, the fountain and arch are lovely.

Enjoyed a few hours at the Whitney. Well laid out and easy to navigate. Nice view of Manhattan from some floors too. Would recommend.

We had dinner here, and it is a great neighborhood for restaurant searches. All sorts of cuisines, formal and informal,, lots of outdoor seating. There is also a lot of charm here, narrow tree-lined streets with attractive row houses and apartment buildings. Well-served by the subway system. Stroll around, especially on a warm evening.

Very near to Chelsea market and the Highline . We had few hours to spend in NYC before our flight in evening . Had lunch at nearby market and then strolled the island park . Must do if you are in the area. Highly recommended .

A somewhat new addition to Manhattan, and very welcome as this very long linear park provides much loved recreation space in the middle of town. It runs along the Hudson River and links up many important neighborhoods. You can take a short walk or a very long one, all good. Great views. You will see a lot of people using the park.

It was very unique and fun. It has 2 floors and multiple photo opportunities! It was smaller than I expected but still something cool to do if you’re visiting. Especially if you have children!

We always try to catch a comedy show when we visit NYC, and we picked this place because we had never been before. They make you line up around the corner before the show (watch out for the homeless asking for money), and you have to put your phones in a sealed pouch beforehand as well.

The room itself is in the cellar, as the name says, but the tables are all VERY close together, you could feel the person’s breath behind you on your neck, that’s how close the seats are. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, and there is a 2-item minimum per person, and the drinks aren’t cheap as you can imagine.

Out of the host and 5 other comedians we saw that evening (8:45pm show), 3 were very funny with original and up-to-date jokes. Be aware, if you sit upfront, you will be part of their acts.

I was looking for something different to do with my young adult boys during a meet up in NYC and thought we would try The Museum of Interesting Things! It turned out to be less of a typical "museum" and more of an authentic NYC experience! I easily connected via email with the amazing host and historian extraordinaire, Denny and secured an appointment time. Upon entering, I knew we were in for a special treat. Denny presented us with many different objects from the 19th and 20th centuries, many related to film, sound and photography accompanied by the historical background and a chance to try out the objects ourselves! Denny is knowledgeable and personable, with a delightfully quirky sense of humor. If you are interested in going back in time, or a nostalgic trip down memory lane, don't miss this! My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to go through each item in his apartment! I saw some gems hiding in there!

Pier 45 is a very long pier with a great view of the skyline. There weren’t many people there when I went, and it can be quite windy, but there is a great view of New Jersey as well as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Everybody loves this place, and for good reason. It's one of the best-known and most respected jazz clubs in the city. The sound system is excellent and the vibe is terrific. Drinks are inexpensive, and the price of tickets is quite fair.

Owing to the placement of a column near the small stage, I'd suggest arriving on the early side to make sure you're not in one of the seats with an obscured view.

This is a branch of the New York Public Library. What makes it worth visiting is that it looks like it had been a church in the past. The outside looks like a church and inside there is an interesting winding staircase with some pretty stained-glass windows. This is not really worth going out of your way to see, but if you are in the area, it is worth stepping inside for a few minutes.
