This is a very interesting site to visit in Philadelphia. Perhaps I would have given it a higher rating if we had used the audio guide. But we chose to participate in a Saturday morning guided tour with one of the museum's local guides. As a professional tour guide myself, I can confidently say that the tour guide assigned to our group was not at all professional. He had trouble taking charge and leading the group. It felt as if the group led him and not the other way around. The guided experience should have been much more structured than it was.

World class museum. The collection of ancient armor and arms is remarkable as well as the Asian art installation. Religious medieval art, Impressionism, American art and more make this a very worthwhile visit for everyone. This museum should NOT be missed.

I mean, I've heard about Barnes and have been to the city many times, but I always slept on it. Don't. Its beautiful and full of treasures.

This is a signature attraction in Philly and you must eat here. There are plenty of food options for all tastes and some terrific shopping.

Some of my favorites include The Original Turkey which serves… uh… Turkey. 4th Street Cookies and Termini Bros Bakery are outstanding.

There are so many different choices and everyone has their favorites, you’ll just have to look around and try something.

It can get very crowded especially when a big event is at the Convention Center but it is well worth the extra effort.

Seating is limited so you may not get a table. If you need a warm comfortable spot to sit you can always try the lobbies of one of the five hotels within a block of the Market. Theres a small public park two blocks to the south near the Canopy Hotel with tables and benches.

Taking the tour was so worth it. You have to reserve a time online. It cost only a dollar and only a few minutes to do it. The Park Ranger we had, gave an amazing history lesson. She was very knowledgeable and very passionate about what she was talking about. If was informative and entertaining. Take the tour.

Back for a second time with a couple new in town. This museum is worth the admission. Nice balance of written, audio visual and physical displays to delight your historical senses. The Washington is a "must see" and the others were entralled with the ship as well.I really enjoyed the native indian exhibit. Close by is ther Liberty Bell- if line is too lonfg, don't fret, view from the side window. Also not far from a lovely brewery, Independence Beer Garden.

To just stand next to the Liberty Bell is so humbling, worth the short line to go through security glad they have that need to protect this great history
