Our family of four, including two teens, visiting from out of town, all enjoyed learning from our guide Seamus Millar as we walked through old Philadelphia. Not too long, not too short. Casual but well-prepared, we heard interesting insights into Seamus’ hometown, including helpful recommendations on how to spend the rest of the day.
Ted was an amazing tour guide. I was wishing that I could be a student of his the whole tour. He had a very fun and humorous way of giving us a lot of fact and history, while keeping it fun and interesting. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city, especially if they love history or just want a nice nighttime stroll with a knowledgeable guide and laugh along the way. I hope they get Ted!
Great way to see the city if you have never been there before. Lots of areas to Hop On and Off -- definitely worth the money if you can see more than a couple of sites in one day. The only item people were talking about was that the people talking about all the sites were talking VERY fast and it was often difficult to understand. Probably much worse for non-English speakers. But it was worth it anyway.
The places were amazing. I got to try traditional Philly foods such as Philly cheesesteak and cheese curls. I was able to see great places like the train station, some art places and anything that catches your eye. I would recommend doing this.
Nice day trip and enough background information was given. Seen the Netherlands Carillon. Also got some tips for New York itself. Travel time is long but you now that before and it's certainly worth it! Smooth process, good driver, good tour guide. Thanks Carlos Bacerra!
Adam made our tour such a fun time!! Being from the area, I didn’t know what to expect to learn - but he shared such fun stories, interesting facts and took us to places I never would have thought to go to. Such a great tour for all ages - highly recommend!!! Will definitely be doing it again.
It was a very informative and fun experience. Our tour guide,Ellie was awesome. Highly recommend. We enjoyed our beverages while learning history of Philadelphia. It was very informative.
Kicking it old school. I loved that a live person gave this tour and not a recorded message. It’s so much better when the person speaking talks about the city they live in. Loved that. Wish it was still this way in every city I have taken the Hop on hop off. I took away a mark because it was winter and there was no heat and the bus needed a facelift. The person speaking from the second level did so with no protection from the wind and cold. The wind in the microphone made it hard to hear them. A small enclosed area upstairs would be good as would a door to the upstairs like in other countries so that the cold was not coming down the stairs. The lower level windows had screening from the sun so you can’t really see out of them. I was lucky enough to sit by the driver where there were no screens so I had a good view. The tour was great. The bus needs improvements. lol the city is beautiful.
Mike was really awesome and personable. He showed us some really cool spots- ones we probably wouldn’t have found/tried on our own. So grateful for the experience. We had a phenomenal time!
Very fun tour! I had previously taken Tours By Foot's history tour and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to do the ghost tour.
The combo of spookiness and historic sites was perfect for me. I just finished reading Benjamin Franklin’s biography so the visit to his grave was a highlight for me!
Jenn was my guide on both tours and as I was a solo traveler she made me feel part of the group. Not all guides do that, so I appreciated the attentiveness she showed me.
Came here with my girlfriend and rest assured her and I enjoyed every moment of this experience. It’s in a generally busy area but we didn’t mind as it still looked nice from the outside, at night it was quite nice as well whenever we would walk by it. Very beautiful tour and no regrets here.
Our tour with Jacquie over Thanksgiving weekend was a great experience. Taking this tour was to be Tourist in our backyard with our 9 yo son and 13 yo daughter. Philadelphia region has so much to offer and check out. We do food tours when we travel because they really engage our kids. Jacquie was great and very outgoing and knows the Italian Market area well. All of the food stops along the tour were well selected and tasted fabulous. I loved all the neighborhood history Jacquie would add along the walk through the neighborhood. She was also great accommodating our 13 yo Vegetarian ❤️ I'm not usually a fan of roast pork sandwiches but the one we tried at Paesano's was spectacular. One of the best rolls I have had in years.   Will definitely take friends to check out when in the area. Gave us great Rocky history and made sure to watch over the long weekend. Definitely recommend booking this tour for a great afternoon experience ❤️
Wonderful guided tour of the highlights of Philly. Our driver Dick provided fascinating historical context of each location, pointing out interesting murals & architectural details (plus good restaurant recommendations) along the way.
