Rainbow Bridge National Monument

My wife and I rode a jetski from the houseboat, in another canyon, up the tight canyon to the Park Service's dock, We tied up the jetski and hikes up a 1/2 mile, very nice trail, to the arch.
There are Park Rangers stationed right at the bridge to answer any questions and probably to keep anyone from climbing the bridge as it is considered sacred Navajo land.

Glen Canyon Dam Tonalea Coconino County 2.8 km away
#1 of 3 Nature & Parks in Tonalea Coconino County
We were travelling between Zion National Park and Monument Valley as part of a tour and stopped off to stretch our legs and admire the view... and wow what a view!
But the education displays, movie and presentations here at the visitor center are impressive and there is a nod towards the controversial nature of all of this, in the interest of genuine objectivity.
