Went on the boat tour in late November. It was a good experience with food and booze. We went around 2.00 pm and our tour began with the lunch. You get water and sweet tea included in the lunch, but if you want alcoholic beverages, you have to pay for them.
There is a audio playing through out the tour with all the history and talks about important places you can see on the sides of the river. You will share your waters with cargo ships and sometimes that could be intimidating.

Pros - you get to see the engine room of the boat which I found pretty cool. Food is good. There is a small gift shop if you want to buy souvenirs.

Cons - Before the tour begin, while you are waiting in the line, the captain or some one from the ship plays a steam piano. It could be loud and discomfortable sometimes.

The tour was well organised. The Grey Lone bus was modern and comfortable with ports at the seat to charge mobile devices. Our guide was engaging, and our coach driver drove very smoothly. The grounds of Oak Alley are beautiful and the tour of the house was done very well. The swamp tour was interesting. I expected it was unlikely we could see alligators as it was hibernation season, but we saw the other animals of the swamp. Captain Tom brought the boat up close and was very engaging in sharing about the swamp; he is very passionate about what he does.

It was great having exclusive access to a New Orleans cemetery with multiple methods of burial within. Our tour manager Geoff was informative, entertaining, and serious and knowledgeable about burials and the paranormal. It was the best kind of fun, where you also learn something.

James did a fantastic job, mixing history with humor, and a refreshing sense of what goes wrong shaping history as much as what goes right. A truly enjoyable tour. Highly recommended. We will undoubtedly hold our future guides to his standard, “those poor people “. Best we’ve ever had!

This was the highlight of our multi-generational family trip to New Orleans. Even though it was a little chilly (January), Captain Ernie spotted a few alligators for us. The bayous and canals are lovely. Definitely recommend. Thank you, Captain Ernie!

I was skeptical of this, as I nor my boyfriend had never done a pub crawl before, but it was a great experience! Our tour guide, John, really made it. He is awesome at telling captivating stories, keeping the group safe, recommending the best drinks, and even takes time to get to know each person a little bit. Would definitely recommend this to people visiting New Orleans! We ended up going to four pubs, so even better than advertised.

Gena was excellent and entertaining. Learned a lot about the city. We took a tour the day before and the narrative was different so you learn something new every day.

An interesting trip, it was a shame the battlefield gangway was inaccessible so we couldn’t visit the battlefield. Very good commentary from the historian

Really enjoyed the steamboat river tour, the narrator, and the terrific jazz/blues band!

The food was very good, although it would have been even better if assorted fruit was also available - melon, grapes, strawberries, pineapple. The lack of fruit/vegetables led to only giving 4-stars.
