I usually try to drive through the backside of Lake Hood and then proceed over to Earthquake Park and Point Waranzof to check out the commercial aircraft landing or taking off from Ted Stevens International airport.

Being San Diego natives, we are used to the enormity of the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, so its nice to find a place to enjoy the animals while avoiding the crowds.

I go here every time i am in Anchorage to watch people fishing, sometimes it is very crowed hardly anywhere for another fisher to stand....but there is a nice bridge for people to watch < park near the Ulu Factory
