Gorgeous but our there needs to be better sound coordination between the local and band sound techs for rock shows.
Fox Theater is a visual spectacle.

B-52s Farewell Tour and KC and the Sunshine Band
Perhaps each exhorbantly priced soft drink should come with a pair of ear plugs for concerts.
We sat Orchestra, Row W and the music was drowned out by the auditory clash.
The sound was so bad that people left. One woman was playing Solitaire during B-52s. So many people were covering their ears. We tore up face masks as makeshift earplugs.
    My ears are still ringing.
The bass was so strong, it reverbed against our bodies. My chest hurt when we left.

What a lovely experience. Fascinating exhibits but the coolest was seeing the Sesame Street characters I loved as a child. Well worth a stop!

Saw "Merry Wives of Windsor" with my significant other. Venue is small and quaint. We were seated in the front row. We were a little nervous about how well we would understand the performance, but the performers used a lot of nonverbal cues that kept us following along, even if we did not understand most of the words they were saying. Food and drinks were fantastic. We loved the show - laughed until we cried! Will definitely return when we are back in Atlanta!

So my daughter and I have been to five covers this year, all in different venues. This was a very cool venue, not a bad seat in the house, sound was awesome. We like the shops, bathroom and food area. It's behind you so it doesn't interfere with the concert. The only complaint is that the concert has to be over with by 11pm, if they could fix that we would so buy season passes.

Balcony seats used to be the "peanut gallery." With a microphone on every player, the sound is clear and loud. The players are outstanding!

I watched Trading Places at Alliance Theatre and had a really good time. The show really made me think about how close we can be to misfortune

This is a fantastic, intimate little venue. I can’t wait to go back. Plenty of parking behind it for $7. They have a bar and sparkling clean bathrooms. Very funky but safe area...not scary at all. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by. It’s the most interesting part of Atlanta

My husband and I went to see Ballet Hispanico here on a rainy October night. We had seen them before at Northrup Auditorium in Minneapolis; we were so impressed my husband surprised me with main floor tickets near the stage.

Ballet Hispanico is based in New York City as not only a traveling ballet troupe, but also as a School of Dance. They are impressive! We have seen them three times now and they do not disappoint. Some of their numbers are very serious and emotional, others are humorous. This was another excellent performance!

We were Supporting Members at The Rialto during this season and went to many performances. The Rialto is a very nice concert venue with good acoustics and comfortable seating. The seats are wider than what you will find at Cobb Energy Center or Symphony Hall and more supported. The venue is very clean and parking is a short walk away, although on a rainy night it seems a long way!

Overall we were very impressed with this venue across the many concerts we went to here. Make sure you attend the Rialto Series events because there have been other event(s) during the holidays that are not the same quality.

Checking out a performance here was the surprising highlight of our first ever visit to Atlanta. We laughed so hard we cried--literally. Don't miss the Christmas Carol Invasion if you're in ATL in December!

This was a great venue for the concert we attended. We sat in the balcony. The ushers were outstanding. Security was present and attentive. I saw where one review said the sound was bad, but I disagree. I was very impressed. We saw a cover band here. Great venue.

Attended the play Sweet Water Taste. Excellent play with excellent actors. Great message in the play, comical and witty! Friendly staff and actors as well. We were able to mingle with actors afterward. Bios of actors were very impressive! We will definitely attend another!

We went to see Kirk Franklin and Maverick City this past Sunday. Once we finally got into the venue, everything was great. But….getting in there? HORRIBLE! Prior to, I read the reviews on here and believe everything you read about the parking!

The event started at 6:45pm and we got to the parking area at 5:00pm. I had considered paying $50 for the VIP parking, but I’m glad I didn’t. We parked right across the street at the gas station for $30. We were able to quickly park and get in the already seemingly long line at 5:10pm. We thought it wasn’t too bad because the gates were supposed to open at 5:30pm. WRONG! The line got ridiculously and increasingly longer as it ended up wrapping around the whole parking lot out into the “sidewalk” area on the main street. They didn’t open the gates until a few minutes after 6:00pm. While we waited in line, we were able to watch the chaos of the “VIP” parking. It took them MUCH longer to park, they had way longer lines, and eventually some were turned away when the lot got too full! 😱

When they finally opened up the gate. We were relieved, but that was short-lived because there came even more craziness. There were signs telling you which line to get in (fast lane, bag check, no bags, etc.). The staff basically said, “Forget that!” They had their own rules for what line to get in, which caused a lot of confusion. Another point (which actually in defense of the venue), a LOT of people had the wrong size/kind of bags and chairs. When they finally got up to the checking part, they were told they had to get rid of it or take it back to their vehicle. People were very loud and vocal to complain about this, BUT it was clearly communicated on the venue’s site, venue’s Facebook page, venue’s post that day, and on my ticket information. I was glad to see them enforce their rules!

Now remember, we got in line at the gate at 5:10pm and we didn’t get through the bag check and then the ticket scanning until 6:40pm! At this point, we were thinking, there’s no way they are starting this at 6:45pm, so we went ahead to the restroom (which was pretty decently clean and fast-moving although I was expecting differently based on reviews) and to get some food and drinks. At 6:49pm, we heard cheering and music! THEY ACTUALLY STARTED ON TIME!! I though that was completely unfair to the people who weren’t able to get in on time BECAUSE OF THE VENUE!!! So people who got to the show an hour and forty-five minutes before it started and were in line 20 minutes before the gates were SUPPOSED to open couldn’t get to their seats in time….that’s just wrong for all of those who were in line behind us because I know they didn’t make it in time. Overall, I would rate the parking, and venue entrance procedures a very weak 1.

All that to say, once we got inside, I would rate the venue itself a 3 based on food, drinks, and restrooms. The concert itself, I would rate it a 5! All the negativity regarding getting in there was worth the amazing praise and worship experience!

My wife and I attended a performance and were amazed at the variety of acts. The acrobatics were stunning. We also took advantage of upgrading our seat, worth it.

Looking for something new to explore in Atlanta, I came upon this wonderful theater. I loved it. The actors were top notch. I saw that they have a variety of shows and plays here so I will be sure to return for another show. What an amazing theater!
