What travellers are saying
- SonyaMount Airy, MD18 contributionsThe Weinberg is a gem hidden in Frederick. We have seen numerous performances by some of the best dance, theatre and comedy acts in the DMV area. If you have not checked out the Weinberg Center it is a wonderful place to spend an evening.Written July 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SonyaMount Airy, MD18 contributionsWhat a wonderful way to see local artists work. It was fun to go and wander around the galleries and do some of the crafts set out for the kids.Written July 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark GCatonsville, MD3,495 contributionsLocated in the historic district on East Patrick Street, this building from 1918 takes up a lot of the block, with an entrance on South Carroll Street also. With room after room of interesting items, we found a nice piece for our living room wall and enjoyed for an hour or so walking thru the complex. We saw a mirror listed that was said to have been a gift to King George III as well as surprisingly a fantastic selection of books. I felt like I had wondered into Barnes & Noble. The staff at the Emporium couldn't have been any nicer. You will find a wide range of items here.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LAURIE SBuckhannon, WV610 contributionsI’m not a mall shopper so my views may be jaded. The mall seemed stale to me and I felt like I didn’t miss anything by going or not going. There are a few anchor stores but not much of a food court. There is an actual swimming pool in the mall though. I didn’t buy a thing.Written May 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- VictoriaFrederick, MD107 contributionsFantastic finds at Fetch from clothing to everyday items to antiques and best of all-proceeds go towards helping rescued animals. They even have a cat room on site that you can share love with the felines. The owner is extremely genuine & runs a clean, affordable & organized space. It’s also just fun to browse & they always play great oldies tunes. Definitely a place to pop in when you’re in the Frederick area.Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ThoughtsofRSHagerstown, MD2,400 contributionsFirst visit to Old Glory.
Fairly wide aisles with plenty of collectibles from many genres.
Ample parking, I bought one item but took a while to pay as they seem badly understaffed at the present.
Not bad at all.Written December 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Me and my disabled wife recently purchased a house and we were looking for some antiques and we stumbled onto this store. We were disrespected by the owner Paul and he told us to come back when my wife gets better and when I have a better paying job so we can afford his overpriced garbage. He even shared he used to have 2 buildings but now they cut back to one and everything is on "sale" which he never did before. I can completely understand why his business is failing and frankly it deserves to.Written February 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MmutsyMaryland195 contributionsThis is the place to go when you have gone everywhere and you can't find a piece of furniture that you're looking for. They're only open 1 weekend a month so don't go trying to find the place on the off chance you want to buy something.
There are a lot of different rooms and a barn you can see furniture and almost any accessory you would be looking for.
I can't wait to go back again next month and find that perfect piece.
Some people will say they are expensive I don't think their prices are high at all. The furniture is all good quality you won't find something rickety that you might be worried won't hold what you want to put in it.Written May 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
