They knew all about the history and geography of the area, and they made it extremely fun. I couldn't recommend these guys any higher. Great value, great experience and from locals to the area.

- Terry TWoodland, WA21 contributionsConvenient and efficient pick up with knowledgeable and friendly tour guides. They were respectful on the way up and allowed us that wanted to rest to do so in quiet. Great about telling us what was next and warning about winding roads.
The sunrise was AMAZING to experience from night’s darkness to the first light of dawn. Special bonus was first light chanting and welcoming of a new day.

- Thomas R1 contributionWe had a fabulous experience. Koby was our guide and gave my wife, 2 teenagers and me a private tour on the road to Hana. He was a wealth of information.
He provided us with an interesting background on the History of Maui and Hawaii. He was very hands on with providing us a wide sampling of fruits growing on the island. He demonstrated how the locals use the plants and flowers for a variety of uses. E.g., he picked a type of flower and put in the AC vent of his Suburban and used as an air freshener.
Koby took us off the main route so we would have access to beaches and other points of interest away from others. We went to a road side stop and sampled fresh cacao. It was nice since no one else was at this location.
He pointed out multi colored painted trees. Beaches full of large turtles. He showed us how to find sea shells with a tiny hole to make a necklace.
Koby was full of information and a really fun guide. Our guide, Kyle, made the experience so enjoyable. He was very clear in his instructions which meant we were able to get on the water quickly and paddle out to our snorkeling site. Kyle made sure that everybody in the small group got the personal attention they needed, he was a great cheerleader and made sure we all felt comfortable in an unfamiliar situation. It was a lot of fun.
It was obvious that Kyle loves his work, and that it was important to him that we understood the best way to interact with turtles and sealife we came across (enjoy from a respectful distance). Swimming amongst the turtles was magical and even though Turtle Town is a popular spot, we got there early enough to avoid the crowds.
The optional photo package is a must-do. Kyle left us with a few great restaurant recommendations...we headed right over to Nalu's South Shore Grill - their cornflake-crusted french toast was a great end to a wonderful morning.

Our driver, Travis, was stellar! Everyone in our group felt very comfortable with him driving, and we learned more about Hawai’i from him in one day than we learned in our previous 9 days on the islands. He is from Hāna, so he’s very knowledgeable, with a great personality and sense of humor. He was able to share island traditions, beliefs & history. Travis stopped at every location we wanted to see and then some. I would give him 10 stars if I could! Yup, non swimmer here, yup water fear, and yup Georgia- as hearty, competent and calm instructor as you’ll ever have - made me feel completely safe and truly appreciate the experience. We got a special treat as Georgia just had the three of us so felt really personal. At the end, we went snorkeling at the recommended location and we saw amazing fish. Stopped at a food truck on the way and had amazing shaved ice and tacos. - Suma MLos Angeles, CA1 contributionWe had a great time on this tour! We stayed at a nearby Wailea Beach hotel and the meeting point was super convenient. Even though we booked the night before, we were contacted by phone to make sure we knew what to expect and that they had the right equipment for us. Tristan, the owner, was our guide. He was fantastic! We saw a couple of turtles, lots of fish, eels, starfish, and sea urchins. I was impressed with how much we saw given that we were still within sight of shore. The sea scooters were easy to use and allowed us to relax and not get tired too quickly. If you're early risers, I'd recommend going to the earliest tour offered, since the water later in the morning was pretty choppy. - Emily L1 contributionSearched a lot of different options for our vacation but this company turned out to be amazing! The communication was clear and easy to follow.
We ended up with a private snorkel session with Shelby. She got us out in the water super quickly and we had a blast! Saw turtles, octopus and she dove down to let us take pictures with some cool finds.
Her photography skills were great we loved having our own pictures/videos. We missed the turn-off to view the surfers on the NW side as he said the turn-off too late. Sometimes, the narrator got to be annoying, especially if we were trying to talk or decide where to go. The Road to Hana was tight, and we almost got hit several times.
