Stayed here last week for a convention. All of the staff was extremely friendly and always willing to assist.

Rooms were small but very clean, I was upgraded to a river view room which was great.

The cave was a very fun experience. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable and fun. Great day full of visual stimulation.

I wished that I would have done a walking or audio tour to truly appreciate the Alamo. Unfortunately, we came late in the afternoon and most venues were closing early. I would recommend monitoring the best time to come and take some time to truly learn the history behind this place. It is relatively small and can be done in less than one hour.

Beautiful location in San Antonio. This place looked other worldly once inside, I didn't even feel like I was in San Antonio. I loved walking through the gardens and the waterfall was so pretty. It's a quite place to take pictures, walk around, and a good date place.

Did a drive by to the other Missions but you should definitely stop here. They have a nice visitor center with a very well done film of the history of this area.

Love the river walk and the Alamo! Food was fantastic especially the bbq! The caverns were beautiful but the walk was exhausting! Worth it thou!

We ended up here after a somewhat shorter than expected time at an “immersive art experience”-wanting to spend the rest of our day trip to San Antonio doing something we hadn’t done before. We hit on “Rooted” at the SA Botanical Garden.

If you had told me I would have enjoyed walking around outside in July in 100 degree heat, I might not have believed you. But we all did! It was very expansive garden with lots of different sections to see and more was in bloom than expected for this time of year. And of course we liked looking at the greenhouse offerings of cacti and orchids. It was a comfortable walk and we stopped often- in shade- to tame in the view and the green smells.

We also stopped into Jardin for a drink & some small bites. We wished we were hungrier because the offerings looked very nice.

It wasn’t crowded. We didn’t feel rushed as the open hours take advantage of the daylight. We would definitely come back here again!

They had a lot of flamingos. Cages were clearly marked. Clean and didn't smell much like animals. Many concessions were not open. Several cages were empty.

Afternoon outing with my Grandson. As expected; he was more interested in some exhibits than others. The entry and Dinosaur Gallery was a big hit! We also watched the introduction movie for a short break in the action. Picture galleries were a quick walk-through. Unexpectedly, my Grandson also spent a good deal of time on the outside exhibits and the little sitting area by the river. This was a good opportunity to develop some understanding of history in a young mind.

Great weekday visit with my young Grandson. We went at rope drop and enjoyed Discovery Point Dolphin interactions. Although the later afternoon heat was excessive; timing the shows and mapping out the exhibits allows for some cool breaks. The Reef, the Penguin exhibit and the shops and restaurants are all great A/C breaks. Most shows have shaded seating areas. Great educational information woven into the shows let’s young people learn while being entertained. Really enjoyed the Orca show and the ocean Discovery show with Beluga Whales and Pacific White-Sided Dolphins. Rides were easily accessible with minimal waits. Please note the operating hours during the week are different than on weekends. Still a great place to go!

This is a beautiful and serene cathedral. Upon my research it's the oldest cathedral in the State of Texas and one of the oldest active churches in America. It's free to tour and there's paid parking nearby.

We hit 3 of the missions-all very fascinating, easy to get around. No charge for anything except if you want to rent bikes-which I do not advocate. Too much traffic on dangerous winding roads. Plenty of parking

I stopped by on a Saturday late afternoon, but the line was long, so I skipped. I came back on a Sunday and there was no line, so was able to go to the top without really any wait except for the elevator coming back down. Same when it was time to back down. The views are nice, but I went in the late afternoon so the brightness of the sun was impacting the views towards the west with sunny haze. The glass surrounding the observation deck are also dirty and scratchy, so it sort of impacted my photos as well as the view finder would sometimes focus on the dirt. It got very windy up with the wind blowing people's hat off, so hold on tight for things that might get blown away.

We enjoyed our visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great place to go with young children. Feeding and touching the animals bring a new experience that you don’t get at other locations.

This has been on my bucket list for years and finally went there. Such a lovely area of San Antonio and much different atmosphere than the touristy part of riverwalk. Can't wait to return.
