It was a good mix of history, humor, and theatrics, and because it is on the "ghost bus," it covered an impressive amount of ground. Our hostess, Lady Lex, was terrific. She had the perfect mix of whimsy and seriousness (and she gave a Cure shout out, so of course I loved her!). We went from place to place with the expert driving of Cindy, and Lady Lex kept things interesting as we moved along, making you almost forget you were being transported around the city. The stops along the tour were all interesting, and she gave us a great picture of the haunted background of San Antonio. He gave us a lot of information about each mission and afterwards made a terrific recommendation for lunch. He called to ensure we could get a table and walked us in. There were not many places where there was shade. - DebbieMitchell, SD8 contributionsHighly recommend this excursion! Our driver, Jerry, was terrific - informative and funny. Also a good driver. I messed up and ordered tickets for the day we left and they let me use them a day early (watch the date when booking).
We learned so much about San Antonio and enjoyed every minute. She was absolutely amazing. She was a great storyteller, showed pictures from past guests of actual ghost pictures taken by them in the spots we visited. I highly recommend this tour. People in our group were changing dinner reservations to later times because of the quantity of food we were served. This was the first food tour this company had ever done in San Antonio but things still went smoothly. The Tower of Americas was so nice. It was great to see the city all lit up! The river cruise was sparkling! All decked out for Christmas. The winery's were so friendly and the wines were unbelievable. I would highly recommend this tour to any friend or colleague.
