    A must visit place in Alentejo
    Best gin ever. Small destillery in a garage size building. The guy actually producing the gin works in the garage. And he explains everything. In detail. Even to a guy like me, totally uneducated regarding Destillation. Great place to sit outside. Great bar with reasonable prices.

    Family day with the animals
    I visit the park with my 2 year old girl. She is crazy about animals so I believed it would be a great experience to see a lot of animals up close. The organization of the tours in the park is really good. As soon as we got in, our safari ride was scheduled and it happened on time. It’s a good place to wonder around when the temperature is not too hot. Otherwise it becomes a bit challenging with the eat.
    The biggest negative point and the reason why I’m writing this review it’s related with the bathrooms. There is no place to change a dipper. Not in the men’s room or woman’s or even on the handicap bathroom. It doesn’t make any sense for a park focused on children not to have a dedicated place for a dipper change.

    Excellent day out.
    Excellent Roman ruins. Better than expected. Certainly worth the trip. Lots to see and only half has been excavated. Recommended.

    A little bit of the Roman empire
    We came across Mirobriga as we were making our way down the Alentijo region of Portugal. It was interesting to see the sites such as the thermal water rooms and the forum. The grass was overgrown which I think added to the nature of the ruins. On the pathway we came across archeologists digging up some artifacts, it was interesting to see. I have never seen archeologists at work before. It was definitely worth it for us to see how far the roman empire had stretched. Make sure you take water with you as it gets very hot in July. (we visited July 2018)

    Well preserved wind mille.
    This is a very well preserved wind mille owned by the local town council, no entrance fee, the guide on site explains how it works and all the mechanisms. Close free parking.

    Fascinating place...
    Fascinating place. Had no idea what to expect when we got in only to find they'd used the grounds as its local cemetery. Beautiful monuments for departed loved ones. Signage wasn't clear on the entrance that behaved dogs on lead weren't allowed nor was photography permitted. We didn't hang about when the groundsman swore at us in Portuguese as we broke both rules by accident. He was super angry. Anyway, it was worth the visit. Not dog friendly. No photography allowed. Angry staff included.

    Wonderful informative tasting
    We had a wonderful, friendly and informative tour and tasting at this winery, Fifth generation owner Luis was passionate about his vines and their care and nurture as well as the process of making the grapes into wine. We were fortunate that he was joined by his mother and father who assisted in introducing us to the wines of the vineyard and the gazpacho cheeses and meats they served to accompany them Highly recommended

    A well hidden peace of quiet
    A romantic park well hidden behind a small door next to the walls. A good place to relax and unwind beneath the shade of the trees.

    Nice visit but only for people who understand Portuguese
    Charmant petit musée où l'on découvre les techniques anciennes de l'agriculture locale. Un bémol, aucune traduction pour les voyageurs ne comprenant pas le portugais.
    Cute little museum where you discover the ancestral methods of the local agriculture. Unfortunately, there is no English translation for the foreign visitors.
