- Stefanie3 contributionsWe had a great time on the train. There is a big difference in the view depending on which side of the coach you're sitting on. One side you are abutting the mountain and the other you have a gorgeous view of the valley. We were in the Faulder car so can only speak of those seats. When you look at the pictures of the cars on their website to pick your seats, the ones on the bottom row are valley views. Not that you can't see if you're in the other seats but it's definitely not as good.
Seats were very comfortable and it was a beautiful journey through time.Written October 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The talk was interesting about the history of the Chinese laundry and the company's logo, but standing at the bar for the tasting wasn't as comfortable or engaging as other wineries in the area.Written August 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VhendReardan, WA151 contributionsWent with friends to visit this park. We drove up most of the way, the road is narrow with lots of switchbacks, but the view is awesome! From the parking lot it's about another 10min on a moderately-steep, well-maintained trail to the top. Beautiful views of the valley all around.Written June 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ron b1 contributionsuch a beautiful winery and location. We have been there before, the staff and owners are so knowledgeable and friendly. - HansiGold Canyon, AZ1,374 contributionsWe love stopping here when traveling north towards Kelowna. It is always clean and just sitting and enjoying the view gives you a real lift. Don’t miss it, also, fall is a lovely time to stop and look at the trees and the wonderful colours.Written October 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ViperfistKelowna, Canada1,884 contributionsWe stopped in during the middle of August and yes, it was a little smoky outside. Although this winery has really beautiful outdoor seating, amongst the trees and shade, we chose to taste wine inside today.
It was a very good tasting. Some very fresh tasting, crisp, and refreshing white wines were sampled first.
This family’s story is really quite something. Literally generation upon generation involved in winemaking or the viticulture industry. These people really know their stuff when it comes to producing good wine.
It’s right along the highway, so if you’re driving through Summerland, I’d recommend stopping in.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had the pleasure of meeting Tyson Felt, owner and winemaker on our 1st visit. We really enjoyed our wine tasting with Tyson and were pleased to see that our tasting fee was waived when we bought a couple bottles of wine. The wine is excellent and good value for the price. We went back this afternoon to purchase another bottle of wine to enjoy on the patio while listening to live music. The view from the patio is beautiful. We’ll be back again. I highly recommend this winery.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- fallmom67Vancouver,BC10 contributionsSage Hills was our favourite stop on a wine tour of Summerland. From the minute we stepped out of the vehicle we knew it was someplace special. Tasting took place on the patio, which had some of the most beautiful views we’d seen. Our hostess was gracious and friendly, and we loved hearing about the organic and low intervention winemaking process. Left with several bottles and some gorgeous photos.Written October 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Back to a time of family visits and clean water, local orchards and quiet roads. Because Powell Beach is public land it cannot be trashed unless of course, local government (or its provincial masters) with its enormous appetite for revenues to meet its payroll chooses to "develop" this treasure which should be left alone.Written October 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
