What travellers are saying
- Brian G1 contributionVery cool winery. Alison was extremely informative, knowledgeable and friendly.
Would highly recommend to all wine lovers!!Written October 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, all of the wines felt syrupy sweet to us. The winemaker evidently likes to experiment with adding herbs, peppers, and combinations of wines and fruits, so tastes were interesting, though just not our taste. We bought a bottle for a sweet wine-loving friend.Written July 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marsha42Edmonton57 contributionsSo many great things to say about Covert Farms. The staff, the atmosphere, the wine, the animals!! I could go on and on. Award winning wines, sustainably grown grapes, and a great charcuterie offering to boot! I cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind and welcoming; fitting me in at the last minute when they were booked up. Sadly, they recently announced that they will no longer be able to offer these services and it just goes to show that wineries need our support! A number of things led to this decision but decreased customer support during the last two months was a factor.Written October 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - busconiWenatchee, WA5,355 contributionsA beautiful tasting room, excellent wines at affordable prices. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. We came in the winter, but it looks like there is a patio where one could enjoy a glass of wine when the weather is nice. We feel this is one of the very best wineries in all of Oliver.Written November 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris L2 contributionsWe have been members of Le View Pin winery for 4 years now. I love coming to visit and tasting everything they have available. They produce some of the best Syrah in the Okanagan valley. We always go home with more wine than we planned on.Written September 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rssrobWest Kelowna, Canada674 contributionsGood selection of wines. The labels are very cool. The owner is a pinstriper too. So she has some very retro labels. Wines are good too.Written September 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AliBtravellerToronto52 contributionsThe tasting room for Maverick is right beside Highway 97 between Osoyoos and Oliver. I hadn't visited the winery before so this was an exploratory visit. I'd had a glass of their Ella sparkling wine the night before and really liked it. The staff in the tasting room were friendly and welcoming and the wines excellent. I highly recommend a visit to enjoy their wines.Written October 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joanna GPenticton, Canada1 contributionWe stopped in on a whim on the way home to Penticton. What a great decision! Delicious wines, wonderful hostess, I’m so glad we stopped in. I learned they have a picnic area to bring your own snacks and they are dog friendly! Highly recommend. It has a personal, authentic, local feel. I normally stick to Naramata and Summerland, but I’m so glad we decided to stop here.Written October 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - busconiWenatchee, WA5,355 contributionsThe Pinot here is soooooo good!!! And we were lucky to have had Ove (not sure on the spelling) as our host. He is such a great ambassador for this winery...he is knowledgeable about the wines and grapes, and told such interesting stories. He made our visit memorable, sold us quite a few bottles of wine, and made it so we will return here every time we visit Oliver Wine Country!!!Written November 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rssrobWest Kelowna, Canada674 contributionsStunning views , great wines but the prices have gone way up. The $15 tasting is now $27. Wines range from 20 to $85. The staff were great to deal with. We only came to buy a caouple of bottles of wine and they were quick to give us a tasting of this plus a new one they wanted us to try. We had been here several times before and the tasting room has really changed.Written June 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
