I very much enjoyed their recommended walking route, and can’t wait to come back to see the arboretum in different seasons. Our host Becca was so informative and friendly, she was also incredible at helping us craft gins that were unique to us and that tasted amazing. I found it extremely good value as well as we had several gin and tonics during the process and took home our own bottles of gin that were beautiful and personalised. Ian is extremely knowledgeable and his passion for what he does shines through. We learned so much and look forward to receiving our special ‘signature blends’ when they’re ready!

She gave us a really interesting and fascinating introduction to the history of the house, it’s various owners over the years and showed us around the interior, the gardens and outside buildings. It is usually quiet and relaxing.

The snack menu was typical pub fare I opted for a sandwich and my wife for a baked potato which were both ok but not outstanding. - archna p1 contributionMy daughter went to the wild learning for the first time yesterday and I honestly can't recommend it highly enough.
Initially the places were all booked up but after finding someone else to allocate more spaces I was emailed to let me know.
They also knew it was her birthday and once again from the minute we signed her in to the time she was collected she was made to feel extra special.
The main host was absolutely amazing with them all so thankyou for a fantastic day.

Since riding at southern schoolmasters I haven’t looked back. The yard is friendly, horses are well trained and would suit all abilities from complete beginner to those that want to progress on. Kirsty and Tina are experienced tutors and lessons are super fun. It’s not just about riding in a big saddle the aids are so different to English. I have learned more about the horse, the way they move and respond and feel after every lesson I am becoming a better rider. Topped with a trail out. Just pure bliss.
