- DEBORAH B1 contributionLoved the day there! We had great weather. The water was perfect. It was not too busy. Nice set up, great food, service, layout. Sun beds, music, Easy to get toWritten October 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Renee YNoordwijk, The Netherlands851 contributionsVery pretty beach club (layout, decor, ambiance) with onsite parking. It is on sandy stretch of beach farther from where the beach clubs are all side by side, making it quite crowded. I appreciated that it was quiet, there was decent space between chairs. The first row is all double beds so if you don't want that you'll for sure not be beach front. There is service at the chairs, first time we had that in our three weeks, which was nice. It was a windy day so the sea was quite rough and the water was not clear. We had lunch in the restaurant. We shared a seafood dish for two. The kids both had pasta. The experience was all good just quite expensive. Our glass of wine with lunch was 10,- each. That's on high side compared to the other places we went, and it was a small pour. Altogether nice day, but we experienced better.Written August 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- neil_hunHorsham, UK180 contributionsA really picturesque beach overlooked by an old castle, with beautiful clear water. The name of the beach, meaning icicle, is quite apt as the generally warm water is punctuated by cold currents, which are pretty refreshing on a baking hot day. The kids enjoyed exploring the nooks and crannies along the castle side of the beach, and there's good snorkeling to be had with various small species of fish in the bay. The beach is pretty small, but you can avoid the crowds by paying for the sunbeds at the back but they are expensive (€40 for 2 beds and a parasol in peak season)Written August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas NCopenhagen, Denmark5 contributionsWe have been visiting Marza beach club for several years - just went there again today.... I’m sad to say that it’s not as good as before :-(
On the plus side:
Fantastic beach and water
Nice with the lounge music
You are not to close the other guest
Food is tasteful
On the minus side:
The price indicates a super posh beach club - and you do not get that
The sun beds and tables under the umbrellas haven’t been cleaned in a loong time
The staff is not really there - you want to feel welcomed
The bar do not have normal alcohol such as vodka and gin
The portions of food are not big
No one is there in the reception or entrance to say good bye when you leave
So would we go back ? - for the water yes, but not necessary for the beach club. Next time we will try to use the water from the public ground and not via the club.Written June 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Bar empty, only loud terrible 80/90´s music but on some sort of repeat mode for 6songs. Staff on the beach - very good, helpful, bar staff - realy bad - arogant, price for drinks changes all the time, only "pretty girls".
Should be improved because owner used to take care and it was nice, needs to get back to the bar againWritten September 3, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Excellent depth for toddlers
5 euro parking
10 euro entry per person
10 euro for one subbed
Food and drinks not too expensive
Clean and well kept but Euros add up quickly!Written August 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We didn’t love the public beach in Monopoli so gave this a try instead. Great alternative. They have parking (paying) and you pay for an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs. Beach is clean. Chairs are a little close together but that seems to be the norm at most lidos we have visited. I would recommend if you want to stay close to Monopoli. We (family of 4
four) didn’t reserve ahead of time. We went in the late afternoon and got a discount on the umbrella/chair rental.Written July 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I found it difficult to exit the water as waves were very strong.
Bouncing around in the water a lot difficult to grab the hand rail and take that step out.
Nice sandy area to relax on or you can slk around the area and claim a rock.Written September 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TRIPPIN'OVERCoventry, UK105 contributionsWas so looking forward to swimming in the sea but you can't because of all the rocks. Nice beds. Food average. Unfortunately during our visit it rained and the staff laughed when I asked where can we find cover - so we stood in the toilets. They just want your money here, no thought for the customer experience at all. Don't bother.Written September 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michela TMilan, Italy46 contributionsWe Went there during a windy day after a stormy night!! Nevertheless, we took a “capannina” in front of the sea. The beach is not fully made of sand there are few rocks in the sea which you may like or not. Few meters on the left there is a portion of the beach where there is sand only in the sea. Losciale is a nice place, very cool. The furniture is well-kept, there are white curtains and sunbed everywhere and sofas and tables that make you think of lounge aperitifs in late afternoon. From 1 pm there is the service on the beach. The restaurant is also well presented, perhaps the service is a bit slow but the food is of good quality. The bathrooms are also well presented, the floor is wooden and they are quite clean, each one has its own sink and there is one dedicated to the disabled with a changing table for changing diapers to small children. in general it is a place that I would recommend, definitely expensive but quiet enough for a large family like us (3 children under 7 years).Written August 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
