Went for the zip lining. I had reserved in advance and got a call the day before saying that I was the only one so they could not do it. I received a call later that night saying one 45 minutes later was available would I like to come. I said yes. Got there the next day. Vistas are amazing. Area is nice. There is a store there and a restaurant with a patio. Simple with picnic tables. Ordered a burger and fries, frozen patty type fare not that great. But really didn’t come to eat. Went to zip lining. Toby and Rachel were our guides. There was 2 others in our group. They walked us through the activity after a video then off to the practice area. Quick tutelage on how the zip lining works and off we went. Up the chairlift to the first stage. During the whole time they are pointing out landmarks and going over local wildlife etc. Well I was first up and man it was something else. Flying down there at top speeds was soooo much fun. It is all done very safely. 4 lengthy runs. It took us just under 2 hours but we had a small group. Our guides, Toby and Rachel were so good. Friendly, professional and I felt very safe. You could tell they both loved their jobs. Keep up the great work guys. I will be back. Zip lining was a 5 but the restaurant experience brought the review down. Pack a lunch. Good service at the patio but low grade product.

A very very good and a very very nice and a very very scenic park to walk or ride your bike around or just relax at and watch the birds but I recommend staying out of that park after dark.

Beautiful beach, so much space as the tide was out when we visited with my son, daughter in law and two year old and 5 $ to park. The scenery was amazing. Think we may be going back in a couple of days.

Lovely spot with great views. I was tenting under a tree with nothing in front of me but a big field and the beach. There were five other tents, so it wasn't crowded although it was in July. The campsite was quiet and cost $20 inclusive for the night. It's very close to the Comox ferry, which made it an ideal spot for going to Powell River the next day. The owner was friendly, so I have no complaints. There are pit toilets and running water with a few picnic tables here and there.

Don't bother trying to decipher the barely legible sun-bleached info-map! The 6km 20 minutes is for the entire loop, but the falls are a nearly flat 100m away.

Beautiful villas, great staff, great golf, great Prime Rib, 16 of us on a boys golf trip. They seem to be making great improvements every year we come here, highly recommend it as a great place for couples or groups wanting to relax and golf/sightsee the Comox valley

Amazing network of trails - great for all skill levels but definitely a treat for the experienced rider. All adrenaline - no ego.

An excellent loop showing a number of different karst geology features, including a sinkhole with a disappearing stream, an appealing stream, and a nice little waterfall.

We really enjoyed our round. The course is in amazing shape, a super track with real friendly people. Lots of deer on the course and wonderful views. The planes can get a bit noisy but a novelty at the same time.

When I was in Cumberland, I enjoyed the trip and the planning that Hiking Adventure delivered. I will return again to experience more adventure with the best company, "Hike Vancouver Island."

we've lived on the island since 1984 and this is the first time we've golfed here, silly. get stuck in a rut. anyway, we came along here the other day after a good walk in the "nymph falls park" and lunch at the "cumberland brew pub". women's night was starting at 5:00 and we walked on at 3:00, and we hadn't made a tee time. weather was iffy, 50% chance of rain and we said, lets go for it. blasted through by 4:30. course in good condition. a number of deer. narrow fairways, but i didn't lose any balls. i read that the course has been in existence since 1922, that explains the size of the tree trunks! we really enjoyed playing a new course. i see good reviews about the patio and the food, so well definitely try that. comox must be pretty pleased with this golf course almost right in town!

Longlands golf course has been purchased by the Crowne Isle group. The restaurant is called the Park. The decor was pleasant as well as the staff. The menu had lots to offer and it is open for breakfast and lunch. We both decided on the Rueben sandwich and the daily soup which was a gumbo. Both were very tasty. They are also licensed which was nice. Overall a good lunch.

Had such an amazing day with Steve on the water. A family of 4 with 2 x 12 year old boys who had the best day ever. The weather was amazing and the fishing was fantastic. Best of all was the service and attention from Steve. Couldn't ask for better and would highly recommend this experience. We did the full day and limited out! Thanks Steve and Island Pursuit Sport Fishing.
