What a great place to visit. Described as caves but actually an ethnographic museum based on a group of old houses that a partially built in the cave.
Nice bar with a small terrace and large area of seating in the garden. There's now a charge of € 3 per person.

Just did the summit ascent; 1hr from the upper carpark (aka "the pond") to the top if you don't dawdle; the rope is more like 4m, but easy. (And an hour back.)

Then, did the loop trail (from the pond) on the northeast shore (visiting the tank (carved out of rock) and the "ancient Greek city entrance" stairs/tunnel/cave) back to the "tuna cannery" (though you can't drive to it; there's a barrier at the carpark 15min along the shore from it) … another 1.5hrs to the “tuna”-side carpark.

Went here after a walk around Monte Cofano. Beautiful view of the mountain, a few cafes but very laid back. Possible to swim and sunbathe here without hassle or paying someone for sunbeds though they are available in several places. Not as clean and less beautiful sand than San Vito but also not crowded.

This is a very nice church on top of the very nice and clean village. The church is 500 years old, has a nice and original facade and a colorful baroque interior. There is a nice painting of Madonna nursing, probably from the school of Antonello da Messina, which has an interesting history. Interesting and beautiful is the floor outside the church, with an elaborate design pattern patiently constructed with river pebbles of different colors.

Wonderful location and really nice people. I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and I’m enthusiastic. It’s close with the see, just 10 minutes walk. The food is the best, fresh fish, fresh vegetables, top wine. I spent there 7 days and it was been, and I found 2 new friends, Peppe and Francesca! Well done guys! Hope see you soon!

Excellent experience- very friendly and adaptable to the groups needs. Also for small children. Great tips for ice-cream! Also possible for groups up to 5 to stay there. Thank you.
