- BeanandBirdNorthamptonshire, UK278 contributionsStayed at Palacio de Sancti Petri recently and l this beach is just in front of it and is just lovely. Clean and fine sand, no dogs at all, beach bars dotted along it. Really great. Very much loved by the Spaniards. Worth a visit.Written September 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- David DDevon, UK28,160 contributionsThis is the bar in the entertainment area in the Riu Hotel Chiclana, where we spent 7 nights from 12th to 19th May.
We did visit here a couple of times during our visit. We stayed one evening to watch the entertainment which was adequate not too horrendous. Getting a drink was the hard part, the service was slow and the staff did not bother who was next, they served the person standing next to them.
It is a very long bar and guests waiting for a drink would congregate around it waiting to be served. Local drinks were served here
There were no bar stools around the bar, our preferred place to sit, so we had to sit in general auditorium which is not very conducive for a quiet drink. There was a large outdoor seating area by the entrance to the entertainment centre, however it was cold outside in the evenings.
We did return another evening, we stood at the bar, had a beer and left, we did not return.
We preferred to use the Lobby Bar, Lounge 24, for all its faults its was better than this Bar.Written August 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is open daily from 11.00am till 18.00 serving beer, cocktails, wine, soft drinks and tea and coffee, anything liquid really.
There are two sides to this bar, the first being the swim up pool and the other is the landside bar and seating area.
In the pool there are a series of round stools and tables there are also a number around stools around the bar. We did not use the swim up bar as the weather was not very warm which was reflected in the pool temperature.
On the landside of the Bar, which we did visit a few times, there was both a covered and exposed seating areas.
The coffee here was the main attraction here for us, well made and flavoursome. Had the odd beer here, not really a fan of drinking from reusable plastic glasses, these had to be used due to the proximity of the pool.
There were numerous sunloungers around the pool area, so very convenient for the BarWritten June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is located in the lower Plaza beside the La Gaditana Restaurant.
The opening hours do vary, staying open longer at the weekend when the hotel is busier and full of weekend holiday makers. The opening hours were from Monday to Thursday 15.en 00 to 23.00, Friday to Saturday 11.00 to Midnight and 11.00 to 23.00 on Sunday.
The bar serves, beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks and tea and coffee.
There is a self-service area where guests can serve themselves, saves having to wait at the bar when it is busy.
The bar has outdoor seating in the nearby Plaza, with a small stage where life music and entertainment was performed in the early evening.
The bar itself does get rather busy and noisy, and parents allowed their children to run about. Appreciate that the Hotel is very family orientated but there are limits.
We did have sympathy for the staff who worked here, it was a thankless task, constantly cleaning up spilt drinks and food that was dropped about the place.
In the Plaza there are a number of old fashioned streetlights, which are painted silver and use solar lights. They give a bit of a street feel and much needed character to the place.
We did have a drink here one evening before we went to dinner, we never went back.Written May 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a nice bike, a very comfortable ride with Shimano 105. In great condition.
It was all set up for me with the correct saddle height and reach.
Heike found a set of pedals for me as I had forgotten my own.
It was a good price and a great service.
Highly recommended.
I would use again

Our holiday was made even more special by our guide Lutz whose knowledge and passion for this region and its history was so inspiring and refreshing. Lutz's linguistic expertise allowed us to enjoy the full tours in our own native tongue. Also Katja from the office was just great with helping us plan our travels to get the most from this wonderful holiday. Her clear and informative emails to us prior to travelling were so helpful - thank youWritten October 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
