There are lots of different trails in this wonderful forest, so we chose the 2 we had time for; Old Growth and Lookout trails.
The trails are well marked, there's trail maps available (hard copy or QR coded).
Parking is free, but the lot is not that big.
Its free to visit, donations accepted.
Take bug spray. There's picnic tables available.
    Its hilly.

The afternoon we spent at waddles n wags was amazing. It started with us meeting our guide for the tour, and 80 plus year old lady who lives with all these animals. she told us stories about the animals and how they all came to be where they are today (animals and people) and remarkably, we learned that there are only 3 or 4 people running the entire place, leading tours and taking animals offsite for birthday parties and other venues like fairs and schools. This family is amazing and the love they have for the animals is obvious. I have never touched so many interesting animals. A truly hands on experience like no other.

A museum that shows very little of interest to people wanting to learn history. Fossils are displayed poorly, and the artefacts have little information that helps you understand. The best thing there is a old hardware store shelf, that spins like a sunglass case. And the $5 admission just kills the whole experience. Please don't visit unless you really want too.

Whitetail is a great course and always fun to play. It is challenging enough for all levels and extremely picturesque. It has a perfect mix of par 3 and longer holes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you want to have lunch there are lots of good choices at reasonable prices.
