my wife and I had a lovely drive to Long Point and noted how many birds were singing in the area. we also noted that the white swans were still enjoying the waters. as for finding much beach area, well that may be disappearing faster than expected.

Imagination flourishes when visting this attraction, and free at that.
But i left a little contribution.
Excellent area, with lots of benches, free parking and just watching boats go by.

Came here for a stroll. Walked along pier after hot chocolate from cocoa cabana.
Hot chocolate was very good, pier walk is nice, and creates a great atmosphere for a fun stroll at night.

Turkey Point Provincial Park is free for day use from Monday to Thursday. Good half day trip for singles, couples, or families.

The hiking is not difficult and there are three trails to choose from. Younger children might enjoy the approx 1 km Savannah Oak trail. For those who want a longer hike there is the 2 km Lookout Bluffs trail.

If you want a more difficult hike, you can choose the Fin and Feather trail which will take you to the Normandale Fish Culture Station.

A reasonably well marked, and impossible to miss trail, excellent for cycling at any speed and with any bike (except electric). Limited road crossing and, unfortunately rest or food stops. A single marker poorly positioned after an entrance gate represented a bit of danger when visibility is limited by the rider in front. Generally well sheltered from winds

Delicious food, great service and fantastic drink options. A fun atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Being in an old school adds an extra level of charm.

Ordered some apps, pizza, and drinks - all were fantastic. It was nice that there was a variety of drink options (wine + cider).

Once the weather gets warmer, I think I’ll be trying the patio there next!

This is one of Port Dover’s hidden gems. Although it’s small, with around a 5-6 foot drop, the falls is tucked away in a nice and clean forest setting. It is close to the road and you will hear the powerful rushing waters.

The path down may be slippery so watch your step.

We have visited this brewery 4 times now. Each time is a great experience with good beer, nice food, and friendly staff. However, after our last experience, I decided to rate only 4/5 stars.

The setting of this brewery is unique as you're in the country, outside in the sun, with a big beautiful barn and a picturesque setting. The Saturday afternoon that we visited, there was a deejay playing for guests. Normally, I wouldn't find this at all irksome, but the music was not at all in keeping with the type of setting. It was so loud that my friends and I needed to speak very loudly with each other and the server just to be heard. And the volume isn't the only problem - the music is reminiscent of the type heard poolside when sipping on pina coladas in the Caribbean. Very loud, lots of bass, and definitely giving off more of a party-vibe. It just seemed so out of place. We thought it may have been done purposely to avoid having people loiter too long. If so, it worked on us for sure.

The other visits I've made to this location were uneventful and quite lovely. I'm not sure if live music/deejay is something they have often, but it would be nice if the music was in keeping with the surroundings.

A interesting hidden enclave of stones from one of the first families of Historic Dover the McQueen family. Across the road is one of the finest residences of Norfolk County. Clonmel Castle.

My friend and I visited Bonnieheath in July just toward the end of lavender blooming but it was still a beautiful sight to behold and I am thinking harvest time for the vineyard would be lovely as well. Due to covid protocal they were not doing tastings but we both enjoyed a glass of their delightful Lavender & Lace wine and made a few purchases including some of the Lavender Gris which we will enjoy when we are together again. The staff, especially Mikayla and Aiden (one of his first days on the job) were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with Aiden. We will return with more friends. Its a beautiful property with lovely views to take in while enjoying a glass of their wine.

This is a beautiful area. The lots are huge, the area is well maintained. There is a pool, with provided life jackets for the small children. There is lots of fishing areas. The heritage site was not open when we were there, but you can walk through the area. There are also lots of walking trails. The only issue we has was the dumping station. Very difficult to get the angle right to get close enough to dump the septic.

Brought our young teens here and they enjoyed it. It was a nice stop to make while travelling and exploring what Long Point has to offer. Would recommend for kids who like walking in the woods and experiencing birds.

Very nice walking trail and lookouts - The larger trail was closed when we visited but we still enjoyed the lookouts and shorter trail. Saw some swans!!

The market is very close to the park and the lake. Nice store with a lot of things reminding you of items from your childhood. Nice way to spend some time and look at older items and great place to find cute things to take to your home to give.
