We have visited this brewery 4 times now. Each time is a great experience with good beer, nice food, and friendly staff. However, after our last experience, I decided to rate only 4/5 stars.
The setting of this brewery is unique as you're in the country, outside in the sun, with a big beautiful barn and a picturesque setting. The Saturday afternoon that we visited, there was a deejay playing for guests. Normally, I wouldn't find this at all irksome, but the music was not at all in keeping with the type of setting. It was so loud that my friends and I needed to speak very loudly with each other and the server just to be heard. And the volume isn't the only problem - the music is reminiscent of the type heard poolside when sipping on pina coladas in the Caribbean. Very loud, lots of bass, and definitely giving off more of a party-vibe. It just seemed so out of place. We thought it may have been done purposely to avoid having people loiter too long. If so, it worked on us for sure.
The other visits I've made to this location were uneventful and quite lovely. I'm not sure if live music/deejay is something they have often, but it would be nice if the music was in keeping with the surroundings.
