- Pieter D1 contributionI surprised my friends with this gift. We went with a group of friends as a birthday surprise and it was absolutely amazing. We had some friends who were afraid of heights, so they had to push there limits a bit. But because of experienced pilots we felt comfortable. Also the view was amazing. We had an amazing time and I hope you guys to grow big! You deserve it. Also we were continually in contact throughout the weeks before the event for questions and preparations. - Jennifer CRichmond Hill, NY33 contributionsMy husband and I went River rafting here. It was a lot of fun. They gave my husband a different helmet so he could attach his gopro on top. The tour guides made it a lot of fun and ensured everyone understood what needed to be done and when. The lunch afterwards was delicious and everyone there was super nice and friendly. It was seriously so awesome! We had Melvin as our tour guide for both and he was so awesome! He was one of the best guides we have ever had!
The canyoning was really awesome because you do so many activities during it, zip lining & jumping off waterfalls and treking through the water, and repeling down the waterfalls. When you reach the launch zone you are paired with an instructor who are all amazing friendly and funny people. Once in the air you have the opportunity for photos and videos using their GoPro which is included in the price. (There’s additional drone footage which you have the option to buy after but is very fair and has some great footage). The bikes are the perfect choice for the Dominican Republic, the trip is all inclusive, and the sights are one-of-a-kind. The trip is a perfect blend of riding, unique sightseeing, and fellowship with the other riders. Robert and Alida are excellent hosts, and they take care of everything - lodging, food, bike support, and transportation. This is an experience for the adventure seeker who understands that seeing a country on two wheels is unmatched and unforgettable. The views and scenery is stunning and he was always ready to take the photos for us. Luis even went out of his way to get us bocijas to try and they were delicious. It was super fun and the surroundings are stunning. They even took pictures along the way at and provided them free of charge. - Howard RLos Angeles, CA6 contributionsMountain Xplor provided a fun, safe, professionally run 1/2 day rafting trip on the Yague del Norte. Plenty of Class 3 and 3+ rapids, along with some quiet spots with lush tropical scenery. Our guide Chino, assisted by company co-owner Marcos, knew every rock in the river. They got us through some very technical tight spots at a low January flow level. My wife and I are experienced rafting enthusiasts from California. This stretch of river, and this company, exceeded our expectations in all respects.
