The caves are incredible!
It is a day long trip, but totally worth it!
Also the tourguide Daniël was a really nice guy and told the interrasting story a long the way.
And for lunch he tooks to a real Balkan restaurant with enough to choose from!

Our guide really made the day rich with sharing so much about life in Bulgaria and history, and also being a top class story-teller. The God's Eyes Cave is a very special place. - Marina A2 contributionsAmazing tour of the caves and an even more amazing guide Maria! The caves are very different - Eyes of God is huge and above ground, Saeva Dupka is a big underground cave with many chambers and even sleeping bat residents on the ceiling. Glozhene is a unique experience as the monastery is perched up on a mountain and accessible only by winding mountain roads.
Maria also offered a great chance to hike by the Eyes of God cave, so we got to experience the true wonder of Bulgarian nature hikes.

It did not feel like a paid tour at all, but more like a fun exploration with a new friend. I am really impressed by both the knowledge of our guide and also his desire to show us a country he obviously loves very much. He was always more than happy to have us stop and take pictures and explore more than what was first planned, which I loved a lot. - Fearless047143335731 contributionSimeon was very nice and showed us many amazing places , very friendly and took us for great traditional Bulgarian food ! Worth the trip and got us there and back in one piece haha . The car ride was also clean and nice and he played great traditional Bulgarian music . Worth the trip .
