Had an excellent visit on Sunday. It was busy but lovely to see so many people enjoying the hall, gardens and exhibitions. We booked our tickets before we arrived. It was worth every penny. There is so much to see. The hall is fascinating. The walled garden is just stunning. Love all the sculptures and really enjoyed Time Horizon. We spent all day here. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Go if you get a chance - it closes at the end of October.

Have visited these woods numerous times since I was a child. Not too busy, towering trees and a serene atmosphere. Walk along the path and you should end up near Bunkers Hill Cottage, a tiny cottage in a beautiful clearing.

This chapel would normally be deemed to be well off the beaten path. However, due to the Slipper Chapel (Basilica) next door being on the Pilgrim Trail, tens of thousands of people visit every year.

this modern chapel is therefore massive. it is built from wood and has a nice feeling of space throughout it.

The gardens are also good - apart from a large space having been set up not only with crosses to represent the stations of the cross, but massed ranks of bench seating that take away some of the spirituality of the palce.
