Did this tour from Pristina. Had a fantastic time with my tour guide Arbies, he was a rather cool guy. Rather impressed with the scenery in Kosovo. Best part of the tour for me was going to an underground cave, where the guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Peja itself is a pretty little town and the people were very friendly. Would come here again

This tour is absolutely more than expectations. My tour guide is knowledgeable and tells me countless history and culture about Kosovo which is valuable. Also he pays attention to my bus schedule for Prizren which is reliable. Canyon and waterfall are both worth a visit!

These are three of the most beautiful monasteries in the world with breathtaking frescoes in each. Impossible to say which is the most impressive; they are all amazing. Breathe in Travel is an excellent tour company that put together a great program. I recommend them wholeheartedly

Trip started with an uphill drive from Chalet Kujta (c.1000m altitude) to get to about 1,800m altitude. In all cycled about 30k with c.500m of ascent (1,300m descent), with just the last few km on the main Rugova valley road back to Chalet Kujta.
Bikes & helmets were brand new.
Great scenery & variety of cycling terrain. Take snacks / packed lunch as no food stops en route. Was one place where could top up water bottles.

Earlier this month, I did the 7 day tour of Kosovo with Choose Balkans and I honestly could not have been more pleased. Let me begin with when I first contacted Choose Balkans. Beginning in March when I first reached out about the tour until June 11 when I returned to the United States, my main point of contact, Sirma, was super responsive. Sirma (1) promptly answered any and all questions that I had; (2) clearly communicated to me who my tour guide would be and where/when they would meet me; (3) periodically checked-in with me during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly; and (4) followed up with me after the trip to make sure it met my expectations. I honestly cannot say enough kind things about Sirma and how simple and easy she made the entire process and how her responsiveness prevented any feelings of concern from ever surfacing.

With respect to the tour itself, my tour guide Arber was absolutely fantastic. As a local, he was able to answer all my questions about the various locations we visited, the people, the culture and the country. His passion for Kosovo was readily apparent in all our interactions. I would specifically recommend him as a guide to my friends and family because I have no doubt they would have the same top notch experience that I did with him.

All of the accommodations that were selected for me were perfect. Comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, good breakfasts, and responsive staff at the front desk.

The sites that we visited as part of the 7 day tour pretty much ticked every box I think I could ask for. We had the opportunity to see beautiful churches/monasteries and mosques. There were many opportunities to see and experience the gorgeous outdoors. I had many chances to glimpse Kosovo's past (both distant and more recent) through the museums and other cultural attractions we visited. Overall it was an immersive experience that left me with a better understanding of the country, its people, and its history.

As an Albanian American I had certain expectations going into this trip as to what I would see, taste, hear, and experience. I left feeling prouder than I could ever imagine of my cultural heritage and that is because of the tour that Sirma put together for me and that Arber took me on.

To Choose Balkans, Sirma, and Arber, from the bottom of my heart, faleminderit. I look forward to coming back to the Western Balkans, and using you again.

We had the best customized 5 day tour to see 5 countries! Our private tour of the Balkans from Albania to Bulgaria and back was incredible and offered many unexpected surprises! From Day 1, Miki asked what our needs were and customized to our interests. Also, very responsive company and good pricing.

Each city we explored had very engaging and knowledgeable guides provided for us which added so much to the experience. Our driver for our trip was Robert, and we cannot say enough about how wonderful and smooth he made the pickups and drop offs, he even got us coffee on multiple occasions!

We began in Albania, and from visiting Illyrian ruins off the beaten path, going way up at Kruje castle, and culminating in a walking tour of Tirana, Albania truly is an undiscovered gem of a country.

The next day was our tour of Lake Ohrid in Macedonia. Our guide Naumka met us bright and early for a tour/ engagement photos with a local recommended photographer! An amazing day full of history and beautiful memories my fiance and I will remember for a long time! We appreciate all the effort the team made to ensure we got a good dose of history in between photos.

The following day was a drive through Serbia to the city of Nis, Sofia, Bulgaria, and back to Skopje. The walker tours were remarkable snapshots for Serbia and Bulgaria respectively. I was a lot of driving, but Robert was invaluable getting us from place to place and even deftly navigating several border crossings with ease (one of our concerns going into this trip, hitting so many countries).

Our walking tour of Skopje is well worth the time, seeing all the monuments and the incredible changes going on there. From there we headed to Prizen and Pristina in Kosovo. Our guide Suad was so energetic and did a wonderful job hitting the highlights of Kosovo as our time accomodated, and left us wanting more!

Our trip ultimately concluded with a transfer to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience traveling through this company and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering exploring all the beauty the Balkans have to offer.

Thank you to Alma at Albania Express Travel for arranging an exceptional 30 day private tour of 8 Balkan countries. The itinerary was well organized and our hotels ranged from 3* to 5*. All but one were good and as we requested they were well located within very easy walking distance of attractions and restaurants. We were also very impressed at how quickly Alma was able to put together a custom itinerary and quote the cost.

Adam was our very competent and friendly guide/driver and he drove a nice comfortable Land Rover. He often drove routes which were longer just so we could get great photos such as Kotor Bay from high up in the mountains of Montenegro and Uvac Canyon in Serbia. Sorry about that terrible road Adam :) but Uvac really was worth it!

If you are thinking about travelling to Albania or any of the nearby countries I definitely recommend that you contact Albania Express Travel.

I was recently in Pristina, Kosovo, and stayed six nights at the beautiful hotel Pristina Hotel and Spa. I didn't feel comfortable renting a car so I asked the reception if there were any hotel guides or tours. The hotel set me up with Valon Shkodra. For three days Valon showed me the highlights of Kosovo, and there are a lot. The caves, the bears, Prizen (the second largest city in Kosovo) the gorge, the waterfall, and ancient ruins are just a few. Valon's English is excellent and he was able to explain so much about Kosovo as we drove, stopped for coffee and lunch and explored the country. I always felt safe while in Kosovo and the people there are wonderful.

ess travel and our great guide was Mr Petrit and the driver Mr Bessy.

The trip was really awesome and fantastic and I assure that we have been loved Albania & Kosovo too much, because we met a lovely people and lovely welcomeness.
The guide took us to places we hardly had any idea about. This trip will be etched out in our memories forever.

Our vacation was totally worth the time and money we spent on it because we explored so many new places.

I thank Albania express travel and Mr Petrit on behalf of my entire colleagues for accompanying us on our trips. He is absolutely indispensable because of his knowledge of the nearby places to visit. His presence makes the already beautiful places many times more interesting.
Once again thank you so much.

I went to Drini waterfalls and I had a great time. I went there last summer with my family. It was a really hot day but when we went closer to the waterfall it was really refreshing. We drank water from the waterfall and it was so colddd. So since it was a really hot day , that water was the best part of it. It’s worth spending a day with your loved ones there
