Quiet day because greyish but I loved it, the place and the heated pool.6$ for non resident was very affordable and even going solo wasn’t a stress because I enjoyed that it was quiet… the little river had somewhat a feel like the water parc where I grew up. Nice visit!

Great food, good fun, staff is always smiling and very cute. Great speacials, not over priced at all. I was very charmed by the view on the terrace. 5 stars.

We had a lot of fun playing 18 holes mid-October. We were first to tee off and we were immediately warned to take no longer than 3.5 hours despite the web site and email confirmation saying 4.5 hours — took us 3 h 45 minutes. By the end, people were pushing us — it is what it is! After a day of rain, there was a lot of water on the course, but the fairways and greens were well maintained, with leaves blown to the sides.

$48 per person, plus taxes, was pretty pricey compared to other clubs in the area — but they offered very clean dressing rooms, a big shop, a fast-food stop mid-way with washrooms, and nice grounds.

On a very hot day, we tried strolling along the canal (Vieux canal). The area is quite picturesque but it was too hot to walk very long. We stopped at the bar for a drink and cooled off. A beautiful breeze cooled by the canal water refreshed us. The live music was also very good. A couple of young men sang some lovely ballads. A lovely way to spend part of an afternoon

This shop is not just knitting and crocheting, but also a wide variety of embroidery and counted thread work including counted cross stitch, hardanger, and crewel. The quality of the products runs from basic supplies to yarns and products that would please the most ardent knitter or stitcher.
Group times and Classes are available, but I did not explore these.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. While French is their first language the staff’s English ranges from sufficient to help any English speaker, including one from the States, to very good.
It was a joy to visit and talk with the owner and her staff.
This is a shop I will miss being 12 hours away from.
