Lots of exhibits and information regarding the history of fishing in Lake Eerie and how that created Port Dover and effected the lives of those that lived here. Even found information about fishermen from next door village to our own in Scotland who moved across there!

Limited road crossing and, unfortunately rest or food stops. A single marker poorly positioned after an entrance gate represented a bit of danger when visibility is limited by the rider in front. It is a nice quick stop and is located beside the McQueen Cemetery. Two for one visit! The falls are about 1-2 metres tall, but is a nice place to okay with light and shutter speed if you are a photographer. We tried a sampler and ended up buying 9 bottles of wine. It was that good. Using cards to choose you samples was a great idea. Wide selection of cheeses, and a friendly staff that clearly knows their cheese. Always greeted with a smile, and leaving with tasty cheeses. - Adam and ChristineBrantford, Canada14 contributionsNever got a chance to play the course because of the starter, but if the staff are a reflection of the course, I'd highly recommend one of the other beautiful courses in the area. I booked an afternoon tee-time for two the night before (there were plenty of tee times to choose from on a Monday afternoon on their online booking system). They even had open tee times after our time cause I heard the guy in the pro shop telling someone on the phone that they had openings after us (and I saw the starters tee off sheet when he asked our name). As we approached the starter, he informed us that he could get us on right away and that we would be golfing with a random guy and his daughter. I understand this policy being used when the course is busy (this course was not busy though and no where was it posted/written). I signed up for two golfers for a reason - a reason I'd rather not discuss here (would discuss it with the manager if he ever reaches out though). Starter told us that there was no way we could play just the two of us. No where on the booking system does it mention the possibility of pairs being matched up with other random pairs (an unwritten rule, I was told). It does however give you the option to sign up in groups of two at any given tee time. Either way, the way the starter and guy in the proshop handled this customer was terrible. We got a refund (thanks for that, I suppose) and called Norfolk Golf and Country Club - they had space and were so welcoming (and appaled when they heard our story). Norfolk is such a beautiful course (nine-hole only though)!
