The bird farm is always a good time and very educational! I like seeing the owls. The purple Martin condos are also cool.

Made it to this weekend's free family Skills for Homesteaders programming and made hand-dipped beeswax candles. It was a lot of fun and smelled great. Got to bring the finished products home.

The front desk team was great, with lots of knowledge about the building and the community's history. Exhibits inside the gallery hall change every 3 months inside the Flatiron - this month was a thoughtful and educational exhibit on Residential Schools.

This is quite the place. Tons of activities - the corn maze is great and the 'mystery maze' adds an extra bit of fun to it. The jumping pads and the pumpkin cannon were hits, as were the zip line and the tube slide. You could say the place is best for the 7-12 crowd, but the two 14 year olds we had with us had lots of fun. Great to see some animals too. Only complaint - when it's busy, IT'S BUSY. But staff everywhere and things are well laid out. Some items in need of repair/maintenance, TLC (call it what you will). Recommended.

The murals are located in the centre of this town but... they are hidden in back lanes. Very worthwhile seeing them. Apparently, they are painted by the same person. The artist got better as he went along. You will to do a bit of walking but not really all that much. After doing that, have a nice lunch in an original Alberta Prairie town. A wonderful 2 hours spent.

While in the area this is one of the things that came to up to do so thought we would stop to see it. It's a fun photo opp and you can say you seen the biggest lure in the world, so why not.

It's 40 feet 5.25 inches. The spoon alone is 27.5 feet long by 9.5 feet wide, while the treble hook is 14 feet long and 8 feet wide!

There is a dock there for catch and release fishing also, and a nice grass area to walk along and picnic tables.

The greens are still hurting from the winter and the fairways need some smoothing out but the course offers a challenge wrapped in old style elegance. The lay out is wide ranging and provides a pleasant lay out for the vast majority of golfers. The afternoon rates are very attractive.

We absolutely love learning to ride at Flying Cross Ranch. Everyone there is so much fun and the atmosphere is one of inclusivity and support. The lessons are geared for all levels and interests and the other activities and events that happen throughout the year give people a wonderful experience of Ranch life. The TALK DERBY event every summer is a definite highlight that we look forward to and highly recommend!!

Seniors (more than 40 of us) from my condo and a neighbouring building, in Edmonton, bused to this venue for the premier performance of Lunenburg on March 12, 2020. To the best of my knowledge, everyone enjoyed the brunch and play. The acting was first rate, the script clever with lots of laughs and some serious reflecting. The food was plentiful and excellent save a chicken dish, which I thought was somewhat overcooked.
The set was pleasant, detailed and well constructed. It was easy to imagine the view of Lunenburg harbour (a place I have visited a few times) it would provide.
I intend to visit again when a new play is featured. (Perhaps on a Thursday evening, when they serve s prime rib dinner.)
A homey setting with good service, reasonably priced.
