What travellers are saying
- JomaLeeds, UK106 contributionsAMAZING! We chose to do the guided tour with access to the Passion Tower. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and was very informative. I don’t know how the audio guided tour compares but I think the live tour guide was excellent. As this seems to be only €4 more that the standard entrance price it seems to be money well spent.
There are quite long queues for the Passion Tower and although you go up by lift you have to walk down the 400 or so steps. The staircase down is a very narrow spiral staircase with no hand rail for most of it and is definitely NOT for the faint hearted. Unless you are desperate to see the towers you might prefer to use the extra hour or more to explore elsewhere in Barcelona.
The museum is interesting to take a wander through so all in all it’s excellent vale for money as this is also included in your entrance fee.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But! Tickets are more expensive than they should be, comparing to similar places in EuropeWritten February 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teddy DBogota, Colombia9 contributionsSuch a beautiful place to see a concert!!! Don't think twice... Had a nice meal not far from there in the Gothic then had to a beer in the bar of the Palau before our concert then we saw why this place is so famous!! - InfoseekUKUK190 contributionsMost of the beauty was cantered around one entrance, which is a shame as it did not spread the visitors about. Tickets sell out so pre book. I think best way to get there is using Bus 24 from Catalunya this bus also stops at Antoni Gaudí 3 housesWritten March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Margaret BCape Town, South Africa8 contributionsI bought a premium ticket to La Pedrera. It was a worthwhile experience because the ticket allows you to visit special rooms in the casa. Silvia, my guide, was delightful. Her love of working in this environment is evident. We ended the 90 min tour with a chilled glass of cava and delicious cookies that popped in your mouth. I highly recommend this guided tour.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- vichyNYC554 contributionsThis cathedral is slightly out of the way compared to the other major tourist sites, but it's so so so so worth it. Hands down, this was actually my favorite one in the city (caveat that this is if you're a fan of gothic architecture). There is a grandeur and a peacefulness that comes through with this cathedral that's incomparable to all the other ones I visited in Barcelona. Also, I loved that there is more freedom with climbing up to the terraces than I've experienced at other cathedrals - you're given instructions on where the stairs are located, but you can go at your own time and your own pace. And in my case, I actually went up more than once, the experience and view from the top was so memorable. There's a wonderful viewing platform that's been set up at the top, with views of the sea.Written January 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sabrina C3 contributionsThere are so many places to shop and eat here. The Casa Batillo and Casa Mila are here on the Passeig. Come to shop for all the luxury goods and see the sights. Bring a luggage with you to place your bags into though… and take a taxi back to your hotel if you shop… although relatively safe, be aware of your surroundings at all times.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eileen108Mount Shasta, CA4,314 contributionsWorth a visit, it has interesting architecture in the main entry, the attic was amazing, and of course the roof with the elaborate chimneys is a treat!Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Margie DYork, PA735 contributionsThe first design project for Antoni Gaudí, this was built as a summer home for the Vicens family 1883-1885. Tiles and mosaics are on the exterior, interior and the rooftop. Rooftop features a walkway around all 4 sides with decorative caps for the chimneys.Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
