- Patrick LTrie-sur-Baise, France271 contributionsWorth the drive to the end of the island, great views, plentiful parking, small fee to climb the lighthouse.
If you have small children or adults who wish to be children north beach access gives rock pools and interesting rock strata. There are cafes, shops but a lovely picnic site should you wish.

- WalsallEddywalsall44 contributionsWonderful bird park on the Ile de Oléron. Although signs are in French they provide a laminated card in English providing details of the birds to look for. The turtles were a bit hit with my son. The observation tower is worth the climb. Well worth the 10 euros it cost for both of us.Written September 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
