We were unsure about this, knowing it's such a tourist thing, but we were really happy we went! Our teenagers found it interesting and the tour guide, Jesse, was a perfect blend of funny and informative. He knew the answer to every question we had.

My only downside was the tour size was a bit too big for the spaces we were in. If you do this tour, stay close to the guide so you don't miss anything---we had a few points where we were stuck in a hallway while he spoke.

The garden is well maintained. The staff takes great care in ensuring that the roses are in full bloom and the entire garden is free of litter. It's clear that the team behind the garden is passionate about their work. If you're into photography, this garden is a dream come true. The colors and shapes of the roses make for stunning photographs.

You really can spend all day here; there are so many things to read and admire. A lot of care and attention has been put into the displays. We especially loved the example of the tomb that you could walk through. The only exhibit which really fell flat for us was the one on alchemy. It seemed rushed and not really based on history, somehow. Oh well, we were so charmed with the rest of the museum that we quickly moved on. The outdoor area was nice to walk around in as well and was nice to eat lunch in. Really great value for the admission, support your local museums!

A very nice high end plaza located in the heart of San Jose. It has countless of restaurants and shops. It is also within walking distance to the Valley fair Mall. 1 days of shopping wouldn't be enough if you with to visit both sights. Santana Row consists of great architecture with an uptrend modern vibe. It has everything from fine dining to little boba shops.
A few of the restaurants that come to mind were Yardhouse, for a nice pint of beer. Fogo De Chao for all you can eat Brazilian food. Magiannios for a nice Italian restaurant.

Happy Hollow was my childhood favorite. Growing up in the Bay Area and spending time here with family was such a nice benefit. Our school would also sign up for trips to this park. now I can share the same experience with my kids. allowing them the adventure and exactment flourish. the zoo is so cool and the dragon train is an iconic part of the attraction. I will also be coming here to enjoy the adventures and share them.

I've always preferred hands-on museums over museums where you just observe things under glass and read about what you are looking at. This museum is definitely hands-on. A highlight for me was creating an animation of a camel wearing "bling" riding a skateboard upside down with one hand. :-D

We stopped in to see the Gymnasts compete. We are from Indiana and stayed in San Francisco. We rode the train to San Jose and were thrilled it stopped right at your doorstep. The only problem was we didn't know it. No signs anywhere we could see telling us the SAP Center was right in front of us. It could have been any stadium or venue. Please help others and put a SAP sign on your backside. The center itself is a nice venue. Sad only a few food places opened for us.

Lovely place for a respite will checking out my surroundings in San Jose. Walked in during one of the Spanish masses and got to witness a newborn being baptized. Sweet moment in a special place of worship.

The park itself is very beautiful, but the roads are still very washed out and, in some places, one cannot pass without rubber boots. A lot of people walk along the trails, someone alone, not afraid ..., someone walks their dogs. We met fresh tracks of wild boars. A huge number of turkeys on the hills. The hare we got on the way was not frightened; it was still quite small. Had a great time with the kids. We will definitely return to this park again. The younger ones were not ready for ups and downs, they had to be halfway through the impact, but still the trip was a success. There are many options for choosing a distance, there is a shorter or longer route. There are maps at the entrance to the park, but it is advisable to go with a GPS. Lost signal several times. The markings of interest are very accurate at the intersections of the roads, you won't get lost.
