This is a working farm ran by the friendliest husband and wife! We went for their National Alpaca Day for the 3rd anniversary and we had such a good experience getting to spend time with the alpacas and talking with Abby and Rob, some of the best conversation my boyfriend and I have had in awhile. They immediately made us feel we were visiting with new friends and we learned a lot in our visit! You get to be up close and personal with the alpacas feeding and petting. Really great opportunity for pictures with the alpacas. We brought our 6 month old and she loved it and I felt very safe bringing her. They are currently building the farm up even more and I'm so excited to keep coming back and see the progress. We will definitely be coming back for their Christmas event and hope to come help volunteer on construction. They are a true gem for the community and I have nothing but good things to say about this experience! Definitely worth the trip!

WOW does not express Champ's Clock Shop. You have to see it to believe it. Little clocks, big clocks & really BIG clocks, clocks that have days of the week only…when you are retired, why do you need to know what time it is, but you need to know what day it is & if you want to know what time it is, there are clocks that have both the time & days of the week and clocks that are jigsaw puzzles.
Nick was there who is the grandson who started the clock shop. Nick spent loads of time with us. He chimed many of the more unusual clocks and shared the history of Champ’s.
TripAdvisor says to allow 1-2 hours there, but thanks to Nick, we were there for 2 ½ hours & enjoyed every minute.

Nice open air, downtown location. You can still see the painted ads from 100 years ago on one of the walls, but the sound system for the small stage is 21st century.

To me, if it is not an indoor mall, it isn't a mall. Very few of these remain, and as malls go, Arbor Place remains one of the best family oriented malls. Growing up in Macon, I saw that mall ruin by parents dropping kids off and leaving the mall to "babysit" them. Families quit going after dark because of kids cussing, gathering around entrances, etc. Because of the curfew, Arbor Place has been able to curtail this and most people feel comfortable visiting at anytime. (of course there will always be naysayers that will disagree and will visit other area shopping areas with a much higher crime rate, but choose to ignore it).

Maybe not a reason to visit a mall, but Arbor Place has one of the best Food Courts of any mall. Plenty of variety and except at peak times, plenty of tables that are kept clean.

With bankruptcy, one of the mall's largest anchor store has left (Sears) leaving many worried about the future of the mall (small stores come and go and Arbor Place has a high occupancy compared to other malls in the State. But replacing a major anchor will be hard.

Arbor Place Mall draws shoppers from all over west GA and east AL. And friends and family from those areas give the mall thumbs up. And I agree with them.

Wow! That’s the only word I can say after walking into this antique mall. It’s beyond huge. We travel a lot around the country and my wife loves to find antique malls. This one was really terrific. Two full stores in one with sooo many booths. The place was neat and clean and orderly. The staff were friendly and helpful. What a place! We even came back a second day because, my wife didn’t finish the first day, even after being inside for 2 hours.

Very interesting tour, taking you back to the 50's. This is a great wy for teenagers to learn a little bit about how it was to live in the 50's. The museum is free and only ask for donations.

I saw LeAnn Rimes in concert here last night and was very impressed with the area. No parking is available but there are free shuttles to and from a nearby high school and a park. No food can be taken. A fair variety of food is available to buy there. Alcohol is also available. Bring your own chair and set up anywhere. It was a fun night with lots of people from this area. I hope to see more concerts here. I felt very safe with all the firefighters walking the area constantly and a few police officers were also present. Police drones flew (silently) overhead.
