Hi folks! Im from North Carolina. I will riding at Whistler the first week of July this year and was wondering what the weather is like? So I know how to pack. Watched a video a few minutes ago by a guy at the end of july and was in long sleeve flannel talking about how freezing it was. So its cold in july in Whistler?? LOL clearly Im clueless
Can we just turn up on the day and hire mountain bikes? Planning trip to yourselves in April.
trying to figure when is the best time of the year to take this trip an where to stay. there are two of us coming all the way from Texas
Is the bike park less crowded in July or August? I am trying to plan a trip out there for next summer 2018.
Hi, could you have an experienced rider answer this? My 14 yr old son and I are trying to figure out how many full days of downhill mtn biking we can handle at Whistler (before we are so tired/sore we want to go home). I realize it depends on your fitness/cardio/downhill experience - we are in very good shape for 1 to 2 hour cross country mountain bike races, but we aren't used to riding all day, and not used to all day several days in a row. I know we can pace ourselves, rest as needed - but any general thoughts on whether, say, a 3 or 4 day pass might be better for us? I know we are allowed a day off between days 2 and (3 or 4).... (I suppose we cant get a refund if we're too tired/sore to do the 4th day) - thanks for the advice!
