Why are you offering refurbished rooms to guest on check in when all the rooms are now refurbished. Another Digan scam.
When we complained about dirty bloodstained sheets and ants inside the kettle the manager threw us out of the hotel. (Our voices were not raised and we did not swear). On reading reviews I can see that the Management seem to use threats to make people leave hotel if they complain...so maybe it wasn't just us? We were forced out after one night even though we had booked two. Did anyone else have similar experience?
Seems really strange that when asked the question about the glowing reference. The person from Connecticut stated that she was not anything to do with the hotel and yet she made a statement that was said to me by the obnoxious owner/manager about being the Ritz. When my husband and I stayed (you will find my review) the very nasty lady stated "for the money being charged what do you expect the Ritz" very suspicious I think.
Is it a coincidence or is it me that the last two reviews giving good reviews just happened to only have 1 review for Guildford....

Why are rooms and service continuing to be given to guests ( dirty stained carpets and paint work. ) when not as described on web site. Dirty bed linen and towels left in room at start of stay. Replacements requested still showed wear and tear and stained. Hand towels missing and replaced by floor mats. Missing sink plug not replaced. Cups for complimentary tea/coffee found to be dirty on arrival. Breakfast crockery was also found to be dirty.
