Related to the tokyo subway ticket, is it only available in Narita or can i get it somewhere else??like in station perhaps?thanks
Hello! Would really like some recommendations as to which pass we should go with: JR PASS VS PASMO/SUICA. When we’re in kyoto, we’d like to take some day trips but so far only have one trip to Osaka planned.
This is our itinerary:
* Arrive Haneda airport 5am
* Staying in Shinagawa for 4 days (mostly do Tokyo activities—shopping, sightseeing)
* Head to Kyoto for 5 days
- One day trip to Osaka (Koshien Stadium)
* Head back to Tokyo for 2 more days and fly out of Haneda airport 10pm.
Thank you in advance!
this is my first time in Japan. I have few questions regardings transportation. any tip will help a lot;
1. what is the best way to go from NRT airport to tokyo center?
2.i be in Tokyo for 5 days and want to see as many as sites possible. what is the best way?
3. I will go from Tokyo to Osaka, and then fly out. i want to get there as fast as possible . what is the best way?
4. while in Osaka , how can i go to Kyoto and in the end how can i go to Osaka Airport?
I heard i can buy ticket from here. is this necessary? what is the most convenient way?
I really appreciate your help.
can I use the 72 hours metro pass for the narita sky access train at the narita airport ? if can't , then which train line at the narita airport which accepts the metro pass ?
Can we still buy Tokyo Metro Pass 72 hours in Haneda Airport late at night (around 23.00) ?
Last time when I took a train at 23.30, there are still tokyo metro officers near the metro gates (I bought a one-journey ticket at manned ticket booth) but where to buy the 72-hour pass in Haneda airport?
Thanks in advance.
What is the difference between the Pasmo or Suica card?
I keep reading about 2 different subway lines, and it sounds like you have to purchase tickets separately and their are differnt fares.
I want to use 1 card for all the subways and JR train. I don't want to have to worry about which line is what. Someone else posted something about an ultimate pass. I read something else about combinations tickets from another post. I will purchase whatever I need to make it easier on myself.
Hi there! My name is sita and I'm thrilled to know all about this trains transportation in Japan since my family and I are about to visit Japan in January for the first time. I've been spending my time learning about this train ticketing thing and got a bit confused. Let's say I'm going from kinugawa-onsen Sta. To shibuya using Tobu ltd. Exp trains and I already got my suica on hands, on Suica website says that 'additional tickets must be purchased to use the suica for travel on a ltd.express or green car' what does that mean? Does that mean that I have to purchase this paper ticket and have my suica then having them both (suica and the paper ticket) to be inserted and swiped at the automatic gate or what? I'm just confused here, haha. Your help would be v much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
I have read about Tokyo Metro & Toei Pass, 24hours ¥800, 48hours ¥1200, 72 hours ¥1500. My questions are:
1. Is it still available that passes on this November.
2. If I buy that pass, and i use it around Tokyo, is it necessary for me to buy suica or pasmo card also?
