This summer our destination is PEI and Nova Scotia, but we will fly into Bangor, Maine. So we have a little time on our drive to NS to stop along the coast of New Brunswick at the Bay of Fundy. Are there any high coastline cliffs along there. We would probably have time to stop either at St. Martins & Fundy Trail Parkway OR Fundy National Park. I have heard that the latter one is more about hiking than viewpoints along the coast...is that true? We do plan to spend time at Hopewell Rocks on a different day. Just looking for a 2 or 3 hour detour off Interstate 1 to see the coast of Bay of Fundy.
Is fundy trail parkway connected with McCumber Brook Road yet? From google map, it shows that they are connected. And you can exit the fundy trail parkway to McCumber Brook Road and then to route 114 and don't have to turn back to the entrance. THe google map is correct?
