Is there a decent promenade for an after dinner stroll?
There is only a steep path down to the beach nothing down there it would be better to to take to to take the train into St Ives a five minute trip costing a pound each way
You can walk around the hotel, and into carbis bay, but the best is to find the footpath with leads you down to the beach, pretty much in front of the hotel. Then it's a nice walk down and the beach is lovely. You'll see the 'carbis bay hotel' right on the beach. If you're feeling adventurous, hop on the train for a few pounds to st Ives! X
The hotel is on an incline and there is a pathway down to the beach, as pensioners we declined this option (after dinner) when we were there as it meant a walk back, uphill, in the dark. As you go out of the hotel grounds there is a road (turn left) down to the beach but we didn't venture down there either. Sorry to to have been more helpful.
