We have a 6:05am flight on March1. I'd just like to confirm that we should drop the car off on the 28th and rely on your shuttle.
There is a 4.45 am shuttle available for the 6 AM flight, it costs $3 per person, however you can also take the car back in the morning, they have a drop box for clients needing to drop their cars off outside of office hours.
I left on a 6am flight in December - stayed overnight at the hotel. Think we were told we had to be at the reception desk sharp at 4.45? The hotel shuttle doesn't operate out of normal hours but the Hobart city hotel shuttle bus collects passengers instead from the Airport Travelodge. It arrived on time & was excellent. However, they didn't have other stops to make on that morning. A friend who had stayed at the hotel & intended using this service, ended up ringing a taxi as the bus didn't arrive on time and she was concerned she would miss her flight. It all depends how many other hotels the bus must visit beforehand. I also used the same service when I returned to Hobart to collect my car from the hotel and it was excellent.
I used the shuttle in October. It leaves at 4.45 from the hotel but because it's before 7am, there is a $3 fee as it's not the hotel shuttle, its the one that comes from Hobart. (Didn't drop a car off so don't know about coming from the airport to the hotel but it's just a couple of minutes drive)
