Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, a Fairmont Managed Hotel Questions & Answers

New York

“What floors rooms with Harbour view and balcony are most quiet? I plan on booking a Gold executive room with access to executive lounge. Would like a quiet room on an upper floor away from foot traffic and pool noise as I will be here on business. Are the gold rooms on the upper floor? Thanks! ” also how is Bermuda Day? I will be leaving on Friday Bermuda Day. Will I have trouble getting a cab to the airport as roads will be closed? I assume no but wanted your input. Thanks in advance!

Hello!

I would suggest a higher floor if you would like some quiet or our Bermudiana Wing which is the wing furthest from the main part of the hotel. There are gold rooms on the top floor. I would suggest contacting the hotel reservation dept with your room requests.

I do not believe that all the rooms are noisy. I think the problem I had maybe have been an odd one. I changed to a suite on the 5th floor above the Fairmont Gold Lounge and that was beautiful and quiet.Or the beauty from the Harbour View on a high floor is one that you should have. I always prefer a high floor.

Too bad you will not enjoy the Bermuda day activities. It is worth seeing. You should not have a problem with taxis to the airport as taxis are always lined up at the hotel. Plus a taxi can take another route from the hotel that does not involve going via Front Street.

We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking pool and harbor. We were closer to the elevator (further from pool). We went in December, pool was open but rarely used. Hallway was quiet.

We stayed in the building on the far right. It's only 2 stories, harbor view and balcony. I don't remember the name but I think it's the only building that's 2 stories. Very quiet. Loved it!
