philadelphia

We are renting a one room beach front villa; should we ask for a Hibiscus Room?

Also, how is the security around the resort? Read about a recent theft.

Hello Valued Guest,

Thank you for your interest in Windjammer Landing.

I am pleased to confirm that our Hibiscus Suites/rooms are the ideal beach front, one bedroom rooms.

These are beautiful suites within close proximity to our main area i.e. lobby, restaurants, beach and main pool and have an amazing view of our beach front.

However, these requests are upon availability. Therefore, please contact our reservations agents for booking info etc.

Kindly note that our hotel security is in full effect and rest assured that you and your family would feel safe here with us. In addition more security measures have been enforced by our team. Our clients are our top priority here at the Windjammer Landing.

We look forward to serving you.

Best wishes!

I am not aware of the hibiscus rooms

I think with all resorts you should follow the advice of the resort and use the safes provided etc

Hello. All I can say is that I really enjoyed the top corner Hibiscus 1 bedroom I rented which had a great view and privacy. Please read my review for room number. I didn't stay at any beach villa. Security is top priority on my list and it was very good. I never felt unsafe. Everyone working at Windjammer is not only friendly but also respectful.

Absolutely no security issues.

We prefer the villas rather than the Hibiscus suites - they have a rustic charm.

I know nothing about the Hibiscus Rooms - only know that there are rooms in new buildings on the beach that are more easily accessible. Have not heard of any thefts there are there is security at the entrance and exit as well as security throughout the resort. Felt very comfortable there.

The Hibiscus rooms are the newer rooms. These rooms are close to the main pool and lobby. There are two private pools in this section. It was an easy walk from our room. We had a large patio with a hot tub and beautiful view. Security is not an issue here, but it is always best to keep your valuables in the safe when you travel.

Hi there. As far as I know the hibiscus rooms are the only beach front rooms. The newer North Pointe villas are 2 or 3 bedrooms I think. We’ve never had a problem with security but as always I would recommend using the in room safe. I hope this helps, thanks
