Hello I am very interested in the b&b tried to email you not sure if you got it, as never got a response. Was wondering how far are you from ferry dock? Is it within walking distance? I've read a few reviews one of the cons was you are completely closed in September is that true? I'm planning a trip in upcoming years not this year and want to book way in advance since you only have a few rooms. Thank you.
Hello Kim... sorry for the tardy responce...
We are walking distance to the ferry/ town..
We’re new owners. The old owners closed every sept, and after what went on this past sept, we may close as well, still up in the air!

We hope to see you soon!
Hi! not sure if you got the answer or not. I would not walk it from the ferry. It is a very close walk to town once you know the shortcut. However, the shortcut is not luggage friendly. I would take a taxi. But trust me, the B & B will not disappoint. I am already booked there for 11 days in February and cannot wait to return
Sorry it took me so long to respond! Everything in Cruz Bay is within walking distance. However, keep in mind that there are many hills you have to traverse! The B&B is just off of downtown (which is flat) affording quiet from the normal downtown bar trade. We walked everywhere. We did not walk from ferry dock to B&B as we had someone there to pick us up. It can be done but not advisable with heavy luggage because of the hills and heat.
I'm wondering if you've received the answers you're looking for? The answer depends on a few things. If you're carrying luggage, it will be difficult. There is a short cut, but you won't know where it is until you arrive at this wonderful bed and breakfast and they'll show you. The short cut goes through a side yard of a resident, is also dirt and wouldn't be easy to roll luggage. If you take the streets be ready for a HUGE hill. We did it, but I don't think we'd do it again. We had no idea what we were in for. If we didn't have luggage in tow, I'd probably walk. But knowing we'll always have luggage, we'll take a taxi the next time around, they're plentiful and cheap.
If you don't stop somewhere for a glass of something, the walk would be about 20 minutes or so, depending on your level of fitness. Personally, I would take a cab -- not all that expensive and a lot easier.
I remember them telling me it closes at the end of August
