Hi there, we do recommend doing so as the restaurant is getting busier. Please call us at 1.403.763.6219 / 1.844.370.5619
I have no idea. I would suggest contacting the restaurant directly.
When we stayed at the Juniper it was suggested but not required. Summertime may be an entirely different situation.
As the person above said, maybe wise in the summer. Time of eating also factors in. Early usually good. Maybe send a note to their website and ask.
Not when we went but I would suggest them in the summer.
We were there end of Sept, beginning of Oct.
Reservations are a good idea, even at breakfast. We didn't have a reservation either time we went there.
A fun feature of The Juniper Bistro is the large windows that look out over the mountains across the valley. There are only 4-5 tables right at the windows, plus several high tables with bar stools. So if you take your chances, you may wind up in the second row or further toward the back. Still a good view, but not a window view.
First time, a window seat opened up as we were being seated, so we were seated at the window.
Second time, no such luck, but it was raining and foggy so not having the window seating wasn't much of a disappointment.
There is enough room between tables to go to a window to take pictures without bothering others, if you want, but you can get outside in a jiffy, so I used the windows just to frame the mountains across the valley. Other pix of the mountains I took outside.
