Definitely. Best food in the area and amazing view. It's on the slopes.

No, they close at 3pm in winter as the lifts stop at 4pm. They want people off the mountain before dark. There are no lifts direct to Whitehorn (you ski down to Whitehorn) hence the early close. There is apres at the bar at the base next to the quad chair or in the lodge.

No, you would need to check the time the ski hill closes as the restaurant may close too as it is mid mountain and they may want skiers off the mountain before dark

Most of the Apres are at the main lodge which is very nice

Agreed, what the others said, it's meant for brunch/lunch and is fantastic, would be stunning all lit up at night tho :)

I would have thought it would be perfect for Apres. We were there in the summer so didn't see any of this obviously. It is a great place, enjoy.

I bet it is; we were there this summer and the setting was great and the food equally impressive; fondue amidst the snow certainly evokes the Alpine Splendour!
