Spruce Meadows Questions & Answers

Hello :)

Could someone please describe the difference between these specific tournaments at Spruce Meadows for me? Nationals, Continental, North American, Pan American, Masters.

Each has excellent caliber of International horses. Masters is the most busy - and harder to get hotels. one is during the Calgary Stampede so that is busy. The Nations Cup is my favorite

All of the main tournaments are csi 5* events which is the highest level of international showjumping (see fei website).

Each tournament has events with jumps at different heights and different prize levels and as noted on the website (sprucemeadows) are open to riders from different areas. Closer to time of each tournament fuller details are available on the website and you may also find details of 2017 events which may give you a better idea of the differences.

The National and the Masters are tournaments with competitors from around the world, The Pan American and North America the competitors are from the Americas . The Continental is a more relaxed FEI CSI 5-star tournament.

They are all top level jumping events. Good details are available on the website.
